Have had occasion to use this taxi service in the last couple of weeks and have found them to provide an excellent service. Not only that they are also very good value. Last night we were picked up from Telford Station close to midnight. Our driver Mac was waiting for us when we got off the train in a nice clean car. Will be using them in the future.

To say that Ultimate Taxis went the extra mile for me would be a ridiculous understatement. I booked them for a pick up from Stafford station where I was arriving on a train from London. The train, inevitably, was delayed, and for a time I didn't know if or when it would ever leave. The guys at Ultimate were super friendly and helpful throughout and I was able to keep in touch with them, which enabled them to adjust the pick-up times. So good - thank you so much for getting me home after a stressful day!

Further to the response from the owner I have not yet received any update regarding his 'investigation', neither has my friend who made the booking and did not receive the service paid for.

Very poor customer service. Taxi booked and pre paid for friends to be picked up from a dinner party at 11pm from rural location. From 1055 I was continually checking outside until 1115. My friend had received a text message at 1056 saying that the car had nearly arrived but naming a road which is not our road and so my friend awaited on the driveway....no taxi...my friend tried calling the company until finally got through at 1130. Was told taxi had been there for 15 mins and since customer had not answered several calls to her phone, the driver had then left. There were no missed calls on my friend's phone. We were then told a taxi could come out in 45 mins for an additional fee plus post midnight charges. The operator tried to claim that tracking showed the vehicle had been outside the address at 1100. That is not true. We live in an unlit single track no through road where headlights can be seen if any cars travel down it. If it had been there, I would have seen it and my two dogs would've barked. If a taxi was dispatched, it went to the wrong address or parked out of view of my address. If you order a taxi to come to your address you expect it to wait outside so that it can be seen, not wait in a different road that cannot be seen from your house! The operator was unapologetic, loud and attempted to obtain a further fee for a failed service. My friend had to call upon another friend to collect her who had a 30 mile round trip. As soon as he pulled up outside my address I could see his headlights and my dogs were barking.....pre payment of taxi fare clearly means they are not bothered whether they collect the customer or not. What has happened to customer service!
