I did not receive enough guidance and just before the week the recruiter introduced uncertainty about the process and the next steps which significantly destroyed my confidence, if this meeting did not take place I would prepare better, will not go forward again. Just a kind note Taking video is not important, but understanding technical requirements from the client is much more valuable for candidates so they can prepare better

Hello! I would like to share my experience with Twenty AI. I worked with Hannah and Michael since end of Jan'23 and I have only great things to say about them. They are professional, honest and personable. Hannah and Michael go above beyond and remained a clear balance between myself and the client - I never felt I was part of process as it felt personal.

There were some changes in my role process however they kept me up to date the whole way and they worked so well to close out the job offer process.

Hannah and Michael are the best recruitment professionals I've ever worked with and they set a clear benchmark for professionals who work in the same industry.

I wouldn't recommend using this agency if you're a person of colour. I was dealing with George who was so lovely and helpful, but he had to return to uni so I was forwarded on to a recruiter called Hannah who clearly only cares about how a candidate looks instead of their talent and experience.

I spoke to Hannah over the phone and discussed all of my experience and requirements, which matched the role perfectly. However, I was then asked to set up a 3rd call with her so I could repeat everything that was already discussed over the phone but in a recorded video, so that she could see what I looked like and to "sell myself" to the employer.

As a black woman who often faces prejudice, being on a video can hinder my application in many ways which I wouldn't expect a person who is not a poc to understand. Coupled with Hannah's emphasis to record a video to "sell myself" really doesn't sit well with me as it pertuates the ideology that my value is determined by how I look, or how well I prove my worth which is already highlighted in my experience and expertise spanning over a decade.

Stop gatekeeping roles based on an individuals appearance, but instead think of ways that you can help to make the recruitment process seamless for all individuals. Having a candidate speak to you 3 times before you even share their details with the employer is a huge waste of time and it creates more stress for the individual.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I won't be using this agency for my job search, but I hope that my feedback will help to bring about change within this business.

UPDATE:
I've amended my rating to 3 stars as I received a call from James (director) and we spoke at great lengths about my experience and the steps that the company will be taking internally to create a better experience for all candidates.

Although, I won't be using this agency, I am happy to know that they are able to take accountability for dropping the ball, and they care enough to want to put things right so future candidates don't experience the same issues.

I am a recent candidate with TwentyAI and I couldn't speak more highly of them. My main contacts were Hannah and James, and they were both excellent.

They spent a lot of time with me to help me to improve my CV (after a number of years of being out of practice in updating it, so I did need some help to know what the right areas are to highlight!). They then bagged me an interview with a company where I was a bit of a wild card, but they knew that my experience could be a great fit. To me this showed creativity and thoughtfulness in knowing both their client and the candidate well, and knowing what "match" might work well even if it's not necessarily what was originally expected.

Having not interviewed for a while, the process of going for a new job can be daunting but Hannah and James were really supportive and coached me through it all. Hannah had the day-to-day client relationship and was very knowledgeable and passionate about the company, and this really showed through in her briefings and the detailed prep she shared in advance of the interviews to help to guide me on what's important to the interviewer and what some of the key questions might focus on.

They were really responsive throughout and at the other end of the phone any time needed, which again showed me that they really care about their candidates and I felt like a priority (even though I'm sure they were doing the same for lots of people!).

I'd recommend TwentyAI to any candidate, they made me feel comfortable throughout the process and I felt they did their upmost to help me to showcase my personality and experience in the best way to find the right company for me (and vice versa). It was clear to me they had my best interests at heart as well as their client's, which is an important aspect for me when working with a recruiter.

I had a positive experience with TwentyAI when contracting through the firm with Anai keeping in touch regularly - through to the renewal of my contract before I left for a permanent role elsewhere.
