First class hosts who gave us a wonderful stay on a real farm, utterly peaceful. A hearty proper home made breakfast, squeaky clean rooms and it was the little touches like the home made shortbread and pint of milk in the fridge that was so very welsome after 40 miles on a bike. I cannot recommend Twechar Farm highly enough for anyone cycling or walking the John Muir Way.

Recently taken over by 2 lads who could not be more helpful when i was in there.
They have a big act to follow as mr Singh and his family who ran it before them prided themselves on having what you wanted or would have it for you the next day.
It might be the second shop on alexandra parade BUT IT WAS THE FIRST WHEN IT CAME TO SERVICE...long may it continue
Was always an aladins cave of essential household items and im sure it still will be
