Our Wonderful Day Out at Tropical Birdland!
We recently had such a wonderful experience at Tropical Birdland, and I just had to share it with you. From the moment we pulled into the free parking (a big win, though it was a bit rocky!), we knew we were in for a treat. There was plenty to see around every corner. We absolutely loved wandering through the different aviaries, and it felt like each one held a new surprise. The birds themselves are just lovely – so vibrant and full of personality. It's clear they're really well cared for, and that makes such a difference. We even got to see some of them up close, which was a real highlight!
Honestly, it's such a great place to visit with family and children. Our little ones were captivated, pointing out all the different colours and squawking along with the parrots. It's truly a spot where everyone can find something to enjoy, and it made for such a memorable family day out.
If you're looking for a fun and engaging activity that's a bit different, I can't recommend Tropical Birdland enough. We had such a fantastic time, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic place. The birds are so well looked after and there is lots of opportunity to interact with them. Lovely woodland setting with a walk through the woods too. Nice cafe and shop. Really reasonably priced, and such a tranquil setting. We will definitely be returning. Staff all super friendly and helpful with lots of knowledge about the birds and animals in their care. Well worth a visit. If you have kids there is also a play area and an under cover area if you take a picnic.

This was an amazing place. Enclosures were clean and full of enrichment for the different species, most enclosures were open so birds free to roam. You had hand on encounters with most of the birds and animals with a variety of foods purchased at the gate. The cafe was great, clean and had a varied menu at good prices. I loved this place,

Incredible morning out. My daughter loved getting up close and personal with all of the birds. Rare to get so close with so many types of birds, even the meerkats love people and the attention. We became members not long after our 2 visit as we love the place. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times. It’s always a lovely visit, with friendly staff and well looked after birds. Will always return a few times a year. Save some of your bird food for the end where you can meet lots of different variety of birds.

Very good experience we had. Plenty of birds to see and feed kids and adults equally entertained. Ample free parking. Path is safe well planned and laid pram friendly. Entry price is reasonable you can by bird food at the gate but don’t overdo it as there’s plenty on the floor already. Takes 3-4 hours easily. Also, nice playground for babies and toddlers and cafe at the end. Toilets available with baby rooms and disabled ones.

Had a really enjoyable time here. I really enjoyed the budgies flocking on to me to take the millet and handling the large parrots. Just be careful as they’re quite cheeky and will whip a button off your clothes in a second without you noticing! They’ve some rare and interesting breeds. You can purchase food bags on the way in which is a really nice interactive idea. My only criticism is the toilets which are smelly outside of the building and didn’t have any towels in to dry your hands.

Fantastic day out! You can tell the staff really care and love the birds. Really great to see the staff playing with the birds and the birds are very friendly. Spent the whole day here. Cafe is lovely but can be really busy. Playground is great for most age groups. Highly recommend!
