Just back from a lovely weeks stay at Trerice Holiday Barns in St Newlyn East, near Newquay, Cornwall. Wonderful warm welcome from owners Tori and Kev who live next door but are not intrusive during your stay. We stayed in The Hayloft, a two bedroom reverse level barn, beautifully appointed interior, immaculately clean with its own private enclosed patio area. It was the perfect base for 4 adults and 1 dog, our beagle Bertie loved to sun puddle in his bed at the top of the outside stone stairs which looks out to beautiful countryside and on to the shared lawned area at the front of the barns. The location was great to explore the nearby beaches, we loved Boobies Bay and Crantock, both only a short drive away. The nearest local pub is The Pheasant in Churchtown which was lovely, and for a treat we ate at The Tartan Fox, at Carvynick Farm. It was so relaxing and peaceful and as hosts of our own independently owned holiday cottages it was a delight to be the guest for a change. We would highly recommend a stay.

We stayed in the Byre as a family of four and found it a great base to explore the area.
The barn was lovely, very clean and well equipped and comfortable.
It would just as easily work for 2 couples with the added bonus of 2 bathrooms.
The girls loved the swings and games outside and we loved the patio area with it's countryside views.
Tori and Kev were great hosts, friendly and welcoming and we hope to return.

Lovely place! Far enough away from the hustle & bustle to be nice and quiet, but close enough to get around and be in the thick of it.
Our 2nd visit and again they didn’t disappoint. Lovely cottages that are well maintained, along with the grounds. Nice big garden for the kids & the dog.
Will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for the week with our son and grandson and doggies! We loved it, very comfortable and The Hayloft was great. Close to amazing beaches & driving to places was very easy. Highly recommend Trerice Holiday Barns !!!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Trerice Holiday Barns. We stayed in 'The Dairy'. It is a wonderful property, tastefully decorated and really clean. The Barn had everything you could possibly need to make your stay as easy as possible. The outside area is lovely. It's a little remote to where we would usually stay but it was central to many beautiful places 😍 and the best thing, a high standard property that allows dogs 🐾🐶 Usually we find that when staying in dog friendly accommodation the property is usually basic and substandard. Not at 'The Dairy' ❤️

We loved our stay at Trerice! We stayed in the Dairy, and it was sparkling clean, with super comfy beds and a lovely shower. It had everything we needed (and more), and the location was perfect, as Newquay was so close by, as well as the beautiful Crantock and Holywell beaches. Tori and Kev were so friendly when we ran into them, and honestly, we didn't want to go home!

What a fabulous Christmas get away. We hired all three barns, all of which are just beautiful. Tori decorated each barn and the outside as well. It all felt very festive. The barns are very comfortable and cosy. We all slept great too. Our dogs were very welcome and they loved exploring all of the local beaches with us. We all loved our stay at Trerice and will definitely be looking to rebook. The price is great too, especially for the standard and cleanliness. A fantastic way to end the year and spend a family christmas together. Thank you Tori x

Fabulous stay at the Byre, finished to a high standard, being exceptionally comfortable and cosy. Four adults stayed in the two bedroom barn for three nights and we were very comfortable. A lovely surprise having tea bag’s, filter coffee, sugar, milk and handmade biscuits waiting for us on arrival. Bathrooms were fantastic with plenty of hot water and the walk in shower was amazing. Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. We could not fault The Byre and will definitely return. Tori was a great host, even text the day before departure advising check out time could be later if required 😊.
