We had a brilliant trip from meadowside back to base. Beautiful views, nice and relaxed atmosphere and you can either let the current take you for a leisurely ride or oar till your arms need a break! We stopped off half way for a picnic on the stoney banks. Will be going again for sure ?

Wild area with a fast river going through, you can camp on site or hire a shepherd's hut, they look really cool.
There is a SUP festival called Trent 100 mid July, too.
