We really loved staying at this property. The views are amazing, could sit there for hours just watching the comings and goings in the harbour and looking out to sea (take some binoculars). Couldn't get the cars up to the spaces directly outside the house, so parked a 5/10 minute walk away at Millpool Car Park. Would definitely go back.

Great place, stunning views. Owners very honest about the steep road and recommend walking it before taking car up. We got our 2 small cars up and down no problem. But if you have mobility issues wouldn’t recommend. Really nice walk into the town lots to do and see in the area. Cottage up to a really lovely standard with lots of top end appliances. Only thing that could have been useful was a tumble dryer. Really toasty and warm with the heating on, only really used the fire place because it gave a nice atmosphere. Lovely sized bedrooms and communal area. One of the best family holiday cottages we’ve hired. Really hope to book again in the future.

This place is situated in an elevated position overlooking Looe out towards the sea. The views from the house and balcony are panoramic and commanding. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Lots of hills and steps, so it's no walk in the park but absolutely worth the effort.

Extend living space. Only thing is hill to get to house was very steep for car an walking. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Owner does provide a parking space just a short walk away from house.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March and were blown away by the virtually uninterrupted views over the harbour!

The outside decking and huge bifold doors (as well as the juliet balconies in both double bedrooms with the same stunning views) give this detached property the 'wow' factor!

Beautiful home from home with everything you could possibly need for your stay and the neighbours were really friendly offering recommendations of places to visit etc.

BUT as explained in the property description it is NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

It has 20 steps to access the property and as expected of the majority of Cornish fishing villages its built on a steep hill with 'access' via the most incredibly steep, narrow 'access road' to reach the house and parking bay and it also has a 90° bend to negotiate half way up - send your passenger ahead to make sure the route is clear first!!. We managed it a few times after a couple of wheel spins and reducing the life of our clutch but opted to pay for a month's parking pass for Millpool £30 which was only a 5-10 minute walk (preferred to permit supplied for alternative car park). You will certainly leave fitter than when you arrived!!

We absolutely loved the property, the view, the town, the beach, the walks...everything! So much so we've also booked for next year too!! ... and the welcome gift was a lovely surprise too! Loved it all!

lovely house with a greaat view. Road is described as "steep and narrow, but most people are happy to drive up it" - my advice is don't... instead drop your passengers and luggage off in North Road - many would struggle to even walk up the hill to the house though, so dont stay here if you have any mobility problems.

Location is wrong on google maps. Its the house opposite. You cannot access from The Downs as there is a locked barrier. From North rd very, very steep climb with a right angle bend. Three attempts, burning clutch and severe scrapes to car as stuck in gulley. My review is correct and valid. Neighbours came out to watch my attempts and commented my scratches werent too bad as others have got completely stuck. Not sure which car park the permit is for as there are two. Everytime we passed there were always cars in the spaces!
