We highly recommend Dr. Lillian Cespedes Gonzalez and Travelusion Tours. She has deep historical knowledge of the area that she conveys in engaging conversations. We had some rain but it did not matter as even water is part of the Winchester story.

Lillian gave us a wonderful and information packed tour of Winchester. She knows her stuff and is incredibly personable. She highlighted the well known places but also out of the way places that had interesting history. I would highly recommend.

A very interesting visit of the city - Lillian has a vast knowledge of the city history (aswell as the UK historical context) so was able to keep both us and the kids engaged and interested no matter the wind and the rain. Thank you Lillian!

The Walking Tour of Salisbury was the second tour I have booked with Travelusion tours, after being thoroughly impressed with the Walking Tour of Winchester. Once again, Lillian provided a friendly, personable and knowledgeable tour, which ensured I was engaged and captivated for its entirety. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who enjoys history, or wants to know more about their surrounding areas.

Woaw! We went on a guided walking tour in Southampton with Lilly - and I must say, she’s was probably one of the best guides I have ever experienced!
She knew so most about Southampton, and she talked with passion and infectius energy!

She brought life and understanding to a city, that at first seight, doesnt look too exiting or pretty!

If you come to Southampton ist a must, and we cant recommend it enough! 😀

Our tour this afternoon with Lilly was absolutely wonderful! Her knowledge of Southampton's history is astounding. We learned so much about the rich history of this port city. I encourage visitors to Southampton to consider spending the 1.5 hours with Lilly. She will not disappoint. And she talked non-stop the entire time!!!

Edited following the company’s response. The firm’s reply is really unfortunately just not true across so many different points. It’s a shame they have to lie rather than just taking on board that they didn’t communicate well enough - a customer has a right to plan a trip more than 12h before the start of a tour.

Unfortunately, we’ve had a really bad experience with this company. I booked a tour in March for when my family was visiting in mid-May.

Given how long ago we booked, I messaged the company four days ago to find out whether or not everything was still going ahead. After initially swift responses by the company in March, there was complete radio silence for the last four days. Even with three individual follow ups, I heard nothing back. I called on Friday twice only for it to go to voicemail. I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant with a poorly back so I needed to be certain of plans before doing a two-hour car journey leaving in the early morning the following day.

After a few failed attempts to reach them and speaking to Viator, I got a text message that the company hasn’t had any internet and that I’ll receive a confirmation in the evening. At 10pm, I had to follow up to find out if the tour was still going ahead for the next morning. I then received pretty aggressive and unreasonable text messages from the company saying I’ll receive a confirmation “in due course”. At 11pm, they cancelled my tour for the next morning because I dared to ask for some clearer communication and instructions for where and how to meet the tour guide the following morning when I could have been asleep hours ago. Petty, unreasonable and entitled.

Given how many other tour operators there are in the country who are great at communicating, have reasonable staff and access to internet (in 2024) - I’d suggest you look elsewhere for booking your tours.
