We were really surprised at how comfortable and convenient this hotel is and we were also very pleased with the welcome and help the staff at reception gave my husband and I. What actually impressed us most ,was, that they really cared for this hotel and wanted us to have the very best stay - it felt like it was more than just a job for them. They went over and above to help us enjoy our 7 day stay. ( we were over from Bermuda visiting family). Plus, the hotel is 'Central' - to everything we were looking for - High Street shops, some very pretty restaurants serving tasty food on our short walk down to The Thames ( including supermarkets and all kinds of upmarket shops in the Mall; A very pretty Thames River walk is only a short walk from the hotel ( plus 2 very relaxing Marinas serving delicious home made cakes etc); Plus a frequent bus service to places nearby ( including 30 minutes to Heathrow!!)|Plus, the hotel itself really has some surprisingly bright, airy, comfortable rooms ( the outside entrance no way reflects the inside). The rooms have air conditioning ( ours also had a window that opened), the room was actually much larger than we've had at more highly priced hotels, a seriously comfortable bed ( and pillows), a bright clean bathroom (again surprisingly spacious) with an easy to use shower - just perfect considering it is a budget hotel.| And, I must repeat again ,the manager ( think his name is George) and ( Assistant manager -Alex) gave really exceptional service ( and help) - friendly, kind and caring.
