Does what it says on the tin really, reasonably priced and quite unfussy but does the job well for a night or two (stayed two nights). The location is fantastic and it’s a lovely old building. My main complaint with this one was that it didn’t have air con and you can’t open the windows very much, so was pretty hot staying in August.

Excellent stay in a lovely historical building makes a change to normal travelodge. Elegant original features preserved staircase and windows are stunning. Room very clean and fresh feel to it, bed soft and comfy, staff very helpful nothing to much trouble at all Sri, Paul and remen were very helpful getting us sorted with WiFi issues and sorting out taxis in the morning as well. Would throughly recommend.

Oh well...
We were really excited to stay in Leamington town centre, only to get disappointed...
No king size bed (two singles made up together) as advertised, separate duvets etc, therefore had to sleep separately from my husband 😔 toilet was super outdated and for disabled people as can be seen on the pictures. We took this room post 11pm, therefore we're quite happy that they had a room, but if they would let us know that this would be the case, we would reject this hotel. Door was squeaking on every use. Overall, would never stay again, expensive and not worth it.

It's lovely to stay in this (part) of a once famous Grand Hotel - it's very convenient and has preserved a lot of the original (eg grand staircase etc). No air con in a hot July, but there was a big fan in the room, and the windows open properly. I booked a 'plus' room on the top floor - but didn't realise that you have to tell them at checkin that you've thus paid for continual wifi ... the staff weren't very up on this, and the reception isn't always staffed, so its worth knowing and sorting out at the start. Other than that, a clean, comfortable stay in a lovely big room.

An excellent 3 night stay, we'll definitely use this hotel again.
I visit Leamington spa quite a bit but hadn't used this Travelodge before, was really impressed by it though & won't hesitate to book another stay.
Worked out about ÂŁ70 per night for our twin room on the third floor, which is the upgrade room type. Very quiet all 3 nights with no disturbance or noise. The WiFi is included in with the upgrade rooms & that was really good/strong signal. Bed's nice & comfy to get a good night's sleep. Location is brilliant as is right in the heart of the town so shops, restaurants, bus stop are right there as soon as you step outside the door. Train station is an easy 5 mins walk away, as is the local theatre for live music. A nice couple of parks are so close by too if you want a stroll.
The building itself is a really old hotel that the company has taken on & you can therefore see the nice, old decor throughout - Fab stained glass windows, beautiful staircases, high ceilings, solid walls etc.
Staff were good - the guy that checked us in - Sri - we saw each day, he was great & very friendly.
On the whole we couldn't fault anything & we'll book again next time we're in the lovely area of Leamington spa.
Many thanks for a great stay.

Well, from a beautiful old hotel to now a travelodge, stayed here afew times when home visiting family, but this time oh dear, one of the good rooms, not cleaned very well, dust everywhere window ledges filthy dirty, windows so high you need to be 8ft tall, not worth the money. got a different rm, had to get towels, cobwebs around the window in bathroom,
1st night, couple 5am shouting arguing, she slept in communal hallway,
Nothing was done.so sadly our time staying has come to an end, this lovely building needs a revamp.

A nice hotel but disappointed about not getting a refund for breakfasts. Explained the night before that my son was unable to come so would like a refund for the breakfast then realised there was nothing breakfast room and they were takeaway boxes. They wouldn’t refund these - seems illogical that if the goods aren’t required then we should be allowed to cancel.
