We have stayed here many times while visiting family nearby. Location just off the A38 is ideal and free parking. A Waitrose just over the road and more shops and McD’s over the A38 footbridge. I would say there needs to be steps up the bank to save walking around the road to get to the roundabout and crossing for bus stop. |Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and clean but would benefit from a little bit of an update. |Will be booking again soon for our next trip.

Sheesh where to begin. Awful location, don't be fooled by the pictures, the last time the exterior looked like that was probably on opening day! It's full of weeds, stained paving and unkept gardens, attached to the back of a service station. I booked for breakfast but didn't realise Breakfast on the go, was just a pre-packaged box of goods. So I ammended my booking a few days before I arrived...which I was charged £10 for, and removed the breakfast because I didn't want it. I arrived to ask about my refund of £75, where Gary at reception just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know, maybe it's still being processed" and then pretended to do something on the computer and then after 5mins just slid my room key over hoping I had forgotten! ...so I didn't take the breakfast expecting a refund, only to be told when I got back home that it was non refundable! (A pre-packed box of goods!!) Why allow you to take it off on the booking system, or why do the staff not know anything about the refunding of extras! So easy to fix!! Gary also tried to charge me again for my pet, so there's clearly no systems integrations between hotel and the booking system. The room was dirty, we found someone else's sock under the bed, the carpet smelt of wee, one of our sheets were stained with blood, beds were so uncomfortable, we hardly slept. As a family holiday we obviously made a really stupid decision. But everything from booking to check in to hotel room, to support...was just so sub standard, I'm not even sure how this hotel is open! So being £75 down on a 'non-refundable' breakfast and a pretty rubbish hotel I think it's fair to say it's my first and last time staying at a Travelodge!

If you want a place to stay in Plymouth but don't want to stay in the city this is perfect. 20 mins from the city. Amenities nearby. Subway or Burger King onsite. Very clean and well presented. Highly recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed at Saltash TL many times as I have family in Plymouth, so I was there over Christmas.2024. This is quite a dated hotel but has had some refurbishment fairly recently and our room was very good, and excellent value for money. The staff are always excellent and I’ve known Derek for years. |The toll to get into Plymouth Devon is now £2.60 but it’s worth it just to go over the magnificent Tamar bridge . |If you’re wanting to to explore Cornwall with less crowds , Saltash is not a bad starting point, even though it’s quite a drive to the most southerly points , but there are many lovely areas along the way . And don’t forget the attractions of Plymouth- so nearby as well.

Spent 2 nights here. Experienced loud HGV noise outside my hotel room as there is a BP garage next door and the trucks use the rear of the hotel as a resting spot with the engines running. As a result had little to no sleep. Had to but ear plugs to get a decent nights sleep in the 2nd night

Very nice quiet accomodation. Pleasant staff. A Waitrose nearby was helpful. Great price. Everything worked well and has plenty of free parking.

We were greeted, as ever, with a very warm welcome.||The lady on reception was very helpful and understanding of our requirements and suggested a suitable quiet room upstairs.||We have family living nearby and have stayed here on many occasions, we always enjoy our visits.|Many thanks.

A quiet place to stay. The room was clean and well maintained. It’s not one of the most attractive places to stay but it’s a place to get your head down.
