Basic and no free Wi-Fi. No pegs to hang jackets or coats on as you enter room. Also no shelves or drawers for clothes. In the bathroom the plug holes were dirty and full of hair. TV rather small for size of room.||||The location of this Travel Lodge is excellent and there is a Co-op right opposite. Very handy for Rochester Station and only a five minute walk to the attractive and interesting main street of Rochester which has many attractive looking restaurants.

Weekend couples stay at Rochester travelodge. Location ideal, good parking and also very close to train, room was spotless, breakfast spot on, lovely atmosphere. Most importantly any staff member we dealt with were friendly, helpful, good natured …really made our overnight stay great. Thank you!

I stayed here for 6 nights on a recent stay in Rochester … It is a very smart hotel and in an excellent location right next to the train station … Check in was quick … The staff were very friendly and my room was very good … Had plenty of plug sockets near the bed ( some of the older hotels don’t ) … I had a small problem with the WiFi having purchased a weeks worth for some reason it expired after 72 hours however this was promptly rectified by the lady on the from desk … Bed was comfy shower and bathroom were nice … My room overlooked the busy nearby railway station and there was quite a lot of noise from the dozens of trains that enter the station each hour … This didn’t bother me as I quite enjoyed the view but I understand it might be a problem for others … I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this very good hotel in future … Excellent stay

Excellent stay at this travelodge as great custoner service from all staff as they were very helpful and friendly also made sure my room was fine. The food service and food was great too. I enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed for the 2 days I stayed there and would definitely stay there again. Room was very clean and tidy also bed linen and towels very clean too.
Hotel is in a great location to train station, local shop and Rochester high Street with enough pubs and shops to try.
Great stay and would highly recommend here.

I gave the 4 star due to the air on being noisy and couldn't turn it off even though it was 30°. Also beds and pillows aren't amazing. But service and staff were all so amazingly helpful and welcoming. Great location, right by Rochester high Street where it has lots of lovely places to go for food and drink

Shout out to the lady on breakfasts - she was a credit to the company! Everything was great about the hotel with the exception of the pillows - they were overused and had gone really hard. If you're here for pleasure and you've driven yourself, bring your own pillow from home would be my advice!

Hotel is very conveniently located right by the train station. We were in a room that faced the train tracks but couldn't hear the trains. The room had basic facilities but was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

2 minutes from Historic high street.
Amazing staff.
£88 for just me plus breakfast, but double bed plus two singles!!
Very clean and quiet.
