upon checking in, i was greeted by the lovely staff, asked preference for room, told me how to get there. got to the room, exactly what the picture included. the bed was comfortable, a firm mattress with medium firm pillows. the room was clean, no odors. there was tea and coffee in the room if i needed it. the bathroom was clean, 2 bath towels and a hand towel. the shower pressure was not too harsh, but it was useable. hot water was indeed hot. the area is quiet, no disturbances. the tv had plenty of channels. overall my stay was just what i asked for. would stay again if i was in the area. plenty to do nearby as well.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and found it to be a great value for the area, with consistently clean rooms. Parking is limited, but you can park out front without issue, as enforcement is lax. However, the noise is a significant drawback. During my last stay, I was disturbed by blaring police sirens, car horns, suspicious individuals loitering and attempting to enter the hotel, and guests running through the hallways at all hours. The constant hum of the nearby KFC’s A/C compressors didn’t help either. Light sleepers may find it challenging to rest here.

I left with a bitter taste in my mouth, but the promise of a full refund as credit in a week. That eased the experience at Travelodge Rochdale on the 16/8/25. Unfortunately, the credit I received was only for half of the cost I paid for the one night I was there.
If the refund was in full as promised I wouldn't have left this review contacting all the photos and video.

The bathroom floor was dirty, the towels were dirty, the shower curtain was dirty, the bath and shower gel was empty, showerhead leaked, the remote control was sticky, the floor was dirty, the walls were dirty, the bathroom door was dirty. I am sure there is more to mention, but already the list is too long.

The hotel is based in a retail park, immediately adjacent to a KFC. There was plenty of parking on arrival.
We were booked in an accessible twin room. When asking for two keys, they only had 1 left, so could only give us 1.
On arrival in the bedroom, the TV was on quite loudly, however, there was no remote control. We needed to go back to reception on the ground floor to request one.
The room itself was mostly clean, though no soap in the wall dispensers in the bathroom.
While the room itself was a good size, a bedside table would have been useful. We needed to use the chairs from the desk in the room for this.
We didn't expect luxury from the room, but some attention to the details would have been appreciated.

Ideally placed for a short drive to the airport, and the 1200 checkout time really helps with this. Just off the M62, in a park that has plenty of places for breakfast and fast food, and just 5 minutes walk to The Sandbrook where they have a wide selection of food throughout the day and evening.|Don't expect luxuries, it's just somewhere to sleep, with the airport convenience.

2nd stay here. Hotel is superb, in fact faultless! ||But, the noise is utterly dreadful!||I'm a heavy sleeper and all through the night I experienced.... police cars with sirens BLASTING out loud at all hours, people blasting car horns in the car park at 3am, guests running up/down the corridors throughout the night & someone playing loud music in another room (2 flood below!) at 2am ||Got less than 3hrs sleep total. ||Not the hotel's fault, but guests suffer.

£190 for a room that looks like a cell!Nasty stained carpet, leaving vacume marks does not hide tge stains!Filthy skirts hanging off in the "bathroom" marks up door frames, rest of skirts trims on their way to hanging offRoom was booked as double bed. Travel loage was not my first choice but one of the only places that showed up within 10-15 mins to the salon venue hosting the training.To say i was insensed is an understatement!!i didn't go back down on the 20th July as to be honest i was to angry and upset to be nice and it wasn't the womans fault at the kiosk "reception" i hardly slept and honestly could not wait to get out!No one about on leaving to give feed back tooi've reviewed via Travel Lodge and will be emailingWorst place i've stayed

Lively hotel, nice staff, very quiet in room, plenty of eateries and cinema. Only downside someone swiped my car in the car park and left it dented and scraped. No details left obviously.
