The staff was helpful, especially Anirudh, who provided great assistance during our stay. However, the room did not feel particularly clean, it gave the impression that all surfaces needed to be wiped down to touch. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. At night, it became extremely noisy due to a 24/7 car wash located next door, which made it difficult to sleep. The best aspect of the hotel is its convenient location, but unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. next to a major train line that runs all hours, very noisy, no sound proof. location is good, in between 3 tube stops but not much around. staff that we have encountered were all polite and helpful but stay somewhere else to have a better stay.

1.There are couple of Travelodge's in the vicinity of Tower Hamlets and Adgate East. This one is the best value for the traveller, as it is at most 10 minutes from other Travel Lodge's in the vicinity but being little older gives extremely great value for the money.
2. Tower Hill tube, Tower bridge and the Tower Of London are all a short walk from the hotel which makes it all the more exceptional.
3. Service staff is exceptional, and a special shout out to Anirudh and Ruime who went out of the way to loan me a phone adapter for my Android/UK outlet system, and navigated me through free wi-fi formalities and efficient directions to the nearby attractions. The breakfast in the morning was an exceptional value with healthy options. The assistant manager Emila ran a Tight ship at the lodge, to ensure the service staff of Anirudh/Ruime/Enoch/Ahmed provided us exceptional service.
I recommend this faciloity wholeheartedly without any reservations for the budget conscious traveller who does not want to skimp on the convenience and location needs of a budget conscious traveller.

This hotel would put you off the Travelodge chain for good if this was your only experience. Room was dated, dark and dingy ,furniture peeling and chipped and in desperate need of a total refurb. Carpets heavily stained in the room and corridors. The mattress was poor and sank in middle and combined with the noise from railway lines it wasn't the most relaxing nights sleep just the total opposite. The bathroom was mouldy and needed a good clean. The small area for breakfast was clean and looked like they had invested in new furniture there, this was the only positive from the whole stay. The receptionist on arrival didn't even greet you with a hello and took ages to acknowledge you. We felt we were in the way! The Lift was in need of repair and visibly filthy with some kind of roof hatch as you stepped out on corridor which had dropped that low it was held together by a large padlock. Avoid at all costs it wasn't cheap and there are much better places in the same area which didn't cost any more money.

Rooms were DISGUSTING. ‘Restaurant/bar’ is like a canteen. Staff were talking about us on arrival as if we couldn’t hear them as I arrived on crutches. Location was great but expect it to be the standard of a hostel (if you’re lucky). Rooms are not sound proof. Teenagers running around halls at night. 24 hour noisy car wash outside. You won’t sleep. Either spend the extra £10 to get a better hotel or less money on a hostel which will be the same quality.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, thanks to Siho. He was very polite and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice and the location was great. The only downside was some noise from the railway, but overall, Siho and the team made my visit enjoyable.
