First time I stayed here our room wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests, the bed sheets dirty, toilet not cleaned etc. when we spoke to the reception they gave us a new room although it seemed clean the bed had definitely been slept in and the bed sheets were everywhere. ||The Second time we stayed here we found Boxers from the previous guests behind the bathroom door. And even though the room seemed clean it didn’t smell great… our friend who also stayed with us in another room had Skid marks (poop) all over the shower curtains… ||The staff however are very friendly, but the hygiene and housekeeping needs to be updated and payed close attention.

The bathroom was not clean and had a lump of dried poo on the white tiles!! I mentioned it to reception and they just said that they would let housekeeping know. It’s such a shame, because we book hotels all the time, but have never seen this kind of thing before! We stayed at another Travelodge in Farnborough the following night which was nice and clean, and to the standard we would expect, and which cost half as much to stay at as the Leatherhead Travelodge.

Disappointed with the room. |It was facing Leathehead High Street and I had to keep the window open to get rid of the foul smell in the room and it was hot. |There was constant noise from High Street throughout the night and once I woke up as the car alarm went off. |I had asked reception to give me a quiet room and he said it is a decent room. I could hardly sleep during the night.

We paid an extra £20 for a dog-friendly room — turns out every room is dog-friendly, so that was money well spent! The carpets were so stained we felt safer keeping our shoes on — nothing says “welcome” like mystery marks everywhere. The one fan in the room valiantly tried to fight the heat, while the dodgy windows didn’t help much. Toilet doors that don’t close? Apparently, that’s just “how all the rooms are.” And the best part? A helpful sign in the bathroom telling you to keep the door shut or the alarm goes off — comforting. All in all, £100 for this unforgettable experience felt like a real bargain... if you enjoy sweat, stains, and zero privacy.||Ohhh and the USB/C near the beds don't work...and receptionist aren't friendly and speak little English

It was a great hotel but I was absolutely boiling in the room because of the window restrictions... I did manage to cool myself down with a wet duvet cover and fair play to the hotel as it was scorching outside!! However aircon units would be a good idea

From entering the hotel you were hit with the heat, felt like they had the heating on. Our rooms were on the 4th floor and once getting out of the lift it was even hotter upstairs. Upon entering the room I checked to make sure heating wasn’t on as it was so hot. One desk fan circulating the rooms stifling heat. Although the room was clean and tidy it was the worst nights sleep I have had due to it being too hot and stuffy

Couldn’t fault the service. Travelled from Yorkshire for work. The chap at reception was called Naz and very helpful. Couldn’t do enough for me and the boys. Stayed in 100’s of travelodges and never had the greeting this guy gave us. Makes a huge difference

Incredibly warm in the room, no AC even though it should be standard. ||Second, I set the notification on the door to get the room cleaned and get new towels but I came later in the evening to find the room the same as I left it. No one cleaned the room. Terrible service, uncomfortable rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again...
