Hotel was fantastic. Very clean and very good location. The bar/ restaurant is really great and freshly refurbished. Great to be able to have nice food and drinks without having to travel outside the hotel. |The staff are really helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Jo who really did go out of her way to give as much help as possible. She has a very pleasant way about her and makes you feel like nothing is too much bother. |Great hotel and I will definitely be back.

Cannot recommend highly enough. The hotel itself was spotless and very well decorated. The service was brilliant, we made a mistake on our booking and Emma and other staff members could not have been more understanding and very helpful. The rooms were also incredibly clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are a bit basic but clean. No hairdryer provided. Somewhat understaffed, particularly in the morning. However John, the Duty Manager, was incredibly helpful on morning of departure despite being very busy. Other staff could have looked a bit more professional tbh

3rd time staying here. Booked for 1 Saturday night then decided we needed the Friday aswell, couldn't book the same room but when we arrived the staff sorted it so we had the same room all weekend. Great customer service from all the staff on reception and bar. Breakfast was okay, had dinner one night and food was lovely. Would recommend for a stay over if in Edinburgh as much cheaper than city centre with good transport links

We were pleasantly surprised by this budget hotel. The room was spacious, warm, and had a comfortable bed, with excellent shower pressure and consistently hot water. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away which made it easy to travel both to the city centre and to the airport. You can check in both late at night and really early in the morning.

However, there were two minor drawbacks: 1) The room had no ventilation. The single window couldn’t be opened, and the bathroom lacked a ventilator. 2) The bathroom floor was sticky, though I suspect it might be due to the flooring material rather than uncleanliness.

Overall, it’s a solid budget option—comfortable, warm, and an affordable place to spend a few nights. The staff were friendly and polite. I’d stay again.

The rooms were clean, great transport links to airport or central Edinburgh. Staff amazing, made you feel at home, kind friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Emma, who went above and beyond with help and advice.
One downside, no free internet, you have to pay per day, have complained to Travelodge directly about this issue

Stayed one night as leaving at 4:30 next morning for a flight. Was fine - nothing too fancy and was enough for a one night stay. Had a meal and drinks - pizza's were good - drink prices were ridiculous though. Far too expensive. 3 guys in the bar were quite loud and swearing etc. Staff never spoke to them and it was off putting while trying to eat our tea and also with a child.

Stay is okay and they dont have any storage to keep your clothes and otherwise rooms are pretty cool. Highly recommended for their morning breakfast. They have preset menus for breakfast, lunch & dinner for affordable prices as well. Easy to commute to airport and city center.
