This hotel is by far the worst Travelodge hotel my wife and I have stayed in. We are both disabled and therefore requested a room with facilities for the disabled. We also booked a second disabled room for our son who is registered both deaf and blind. ||||Firstly, only 1 of the 2 lifts was working and there are 100 rooms on the hotel so getting to our room even on the second floor was a challenge. ||||When we walked into our room it smelt of old socks so we immediately had to open the window. The room was large but sparsely furnished, no bedside table for travel clock, mobile phone or medications, there was no wardrobe or fridge. The bed was very low and as both my wife and I suffer from arthritis it was difficult to get out of. There was an electric kettle but only 2 tea bags, 2 coffee bags and a couple of bags of sugar. ||||The wet room did not have a textured floor so was quite slippery although there was a notice on the wall warning guests to be careful. The photograph of the wet room on their website shows a textured room not a wooden one. ||||We stayed for a couple nights and the bed was not made after the first night. When we pulled back the sheet the mattress protectors were both stained. (See photos)||||In reception there is a large notice which says “FREE WIFI” but the WiFi is only free for the first half hour, so if you need more than that you have to pay extra but that only covers two devices, more devices than that and you have to pay a further additional charge. ||||The air conditioning didn’t work and a portable electric fire was left instead. ||||The car park is very small so we were very lucky to get a space especially as we are both blue badge holders. ||||The feeling we got was that this hotel had been used to house illegal immigrants and not refurbished after they left. ||||We could not recommend this hotel at all.

We had a room for 3 adults, 1 night stop. This gives one double and 2 smaller beds. This is one of the newer Hotels and was a good spec. Yes parking is limited if you arrive late. We got a space at 01:30.
There is a ramp but its not too obvious as its 2-tier and to the right of the steps. Really helpful staff even in the early hours 👍🏼

We stayed on the 24th August '25. Parking is very limited directly outside the hotel and was full when we arrived but we were directed by the lady on the front desk to the overflow car park just a bit further up.....not much of a problem. The same lady was nice and friendly when checking us in and asked if we'd had a nice day, which we'd spent at the Historical Dockyard opposite the hotel. Great! Room was OK, albeit quite small and cramped for a family room....bathroom, which was actually a wet room, looked good on arrival but upon use we quickly realised that the shower head did not stay in position so pointed at the floor meaning you had to manually take it out of the holster and shower yourself which in turn made the WHOLE floor soaked. Comfy bed, good night's sleep. Breakfast was a washout!!! Although the food was quite tasty, we went down at around 9am and there was barely any cooked food!!! Therefore everything that came out went really quickly and then back to nothing! Knives and forks were dirty and crockery was limited! Coffee was disgusting! Croissants and such were awful, dry and cheap! One very helpful lady staff member helped us move a table as there weren't enough free. There is a whole other bit with sofas which were unused at breakfast......in my opinion it would be more beneficial to have that side kitted out with tables and chairs to make enough seating for breakfast....the parking and breakfast area are nowhere near big enough for a hotel with 5 floors!!! Same lady who helped us move the table did not stop, she was rushed off her feet, basically did 3 people's jobs!! Well done to her!!! Public toilets in main lobby behind the bar need attention.....only 2 were usable (one of which was tucked out of sight and easy to miss), as does decor in that corridor and toilets.||Location is bang on for visiting the Historical Dockyard which is a great day out but not sure if we'd stay again to be honest!!

The hotel was quite fancy, the lobby area was big with sofas and you could see through the shelves to the breakfast area. The bathroom walls were tinted green and had a step free wet~room floor (when showering.) Our window was full height, as in reached from ceiling to floor, it faced out front overlooking tall shrubs, we got given a regular family room rather than a double bed room because we checked in at approximately 9:45pm.

I've just come back from a 2 night stay. It was a lovely place to stay. I was on top floor and had a wonderful view. The room was very clean and tidy. The staff were so friendly and always happy to chat , I was on my own and was made to feel so welcome. Food was lovely. Will definitely stay again when I'm next back in Medway.

Very very basic and so so rooms. Bathroom smelled and wasn't cleaned as well as it could. Run down.
Restaurant quite basic and breakfast selection poor.
Staff is friendly and have to make do with the facilities but compared to other Travelodges this one is past its sell by date.
Colleague found a bedbug in his bed!
Sorry but I will not come back nor recommend this place (to any university guest).

Room was clean and what we needed for just two nights. Staff were friendly. Lacey was brilliant juggling a lot but always had a smile and kind approach. Couldn't have asked for better service from her.

There is a small carpark at the front and another bigger carpark a bit further down the road. It's free to use.
Quick check on all information given
2 lifts to all floors but one out of service.
My room is on the 1st floor.
A very damp, funny smell as soon as you opened the door.
The bed was comfortable but not the best Travelodge mattress I've had.
The shower was hot and powerful.
Wifi is now £3.5 for 24hrs.
Location is in the heart of the docks, lots of restaurants and fun stuff to do.
Lots of walks and running routes.
Would stay again but hopefully get a better smelling room and mattress!
