You get what you pay for and it's not bad at all! £4.50 for a pint of bud!!!! They do leave tea bags, suger etc on a table by the door which is good as I drink lots of tea! The room is clean as well as the toilet and plenty of towels which is nice, good parking disabled friendly entrance etc which is good, nice smoking area outside and the staff are welcoming which is an extra bonus! Bloody key cards need looking into as they are crap!

Just spent a week here . Would like to thank all the staff for making our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way and found all the staff to be very professional, helpful , friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they all had a wonderful sense of humour which made the stay even more enjoyable. Couldn't find fault with anything. 10/10 Best T/L in uk.

Good location, car park was quite full, front desk was initially busy with other customers at the food section, so I had to wait for a few minutes, but she apologised and was pleasant. The room was relatively clean though there was a dead bug or a bit of dirt on 1 of the beds. Bathroom was clean.

The room I booked was a super room. It was extremely disappointing. Very small, very dirty, no instructions for the coffee machine, no bath mat, no soap in the dispenser, filthy drinks tray full of bits of old food, drink stains and dust. The bathroom was very small, impossible for a couple to use simultaneously. Cheaply designed, toilet difficult to flush. Dust and dirt on all fixings

Room 102 was hot and had a really bad smell. The air conditioning panel fell off the wall. There were stains on the bed sheets and pillows. Stains on the carpet. Dirty shower curtain. The entire hotel is just hot, dirty and smelly. We moved to room 106 which was the same. We asked to move hotel and was refused. No help whatsoever. We were told to rebook and claim a refund. We checked out early as we didn't want to stay any longer. Travelodge are quick to take your money and not provide a decent service. Complaint has gone to Head Office. I'm considering going to the press. Avoid!!!

Friendly greeting and quickly checked in. Room was standard Travelodge room which I expected. Now the not so good bits. Lots of hairs in the room , dirty towel so not great. The car park woefully small. I took the last slot in-between two vans. It was tight. Why build a hotel with insufficient parking. Local area not great. Aircon sounded like a tractor with a broken exhaust and no way could anyone sleep with such a noise. Got woken up at 3.15 with police sirens due to a police station being directly opposite, from then on I could just here road noise and couldn't get back to sleep. Best part of my stay was leaving and I won't be going back.

I’ve never stayed at this hotel or at any other property in the chain, but the café here has become one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends. It’s always very clean and well-organized, never crowded, and the atmosphere is truly cozy and inviting.

This might be part of the chain’s overall philosophy—perhaps all their hotel lobbies look like this—but what truly sets this one apart is the staff, especially Niki and Eli. These two ladies are always smiling, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They’re always happy to accommodate your requests (within reason, of course).

Niki, in particular, stands out with her great sense of humor and artistic flair when it comes to presenting hot drinks—her creations add a personal and delightful touch. It’s a real pleasure to enjoy your favorite drink in such a warm and friendly environment.

The restaurant offers an unlimited breakfast option at a very reasonable price, along with other choices, including pizza. I haven’t had a chance to try the food yet, so I can’t comment on the cuisine.

Another big plus is the large parking area—just don’t forget to register your car at the machine at reception to avoid a fine. There’s also a wheelchair-accessible restroom, and both the café and restaurant are fully accessible as well. The hotel is conveniently located just about five minutes from highways M4 and M5.

**3/5 Stars - Overpriced for what you get**

Stayed at Travelodge Bristol Filton and honestly, for the price they’re charging, this was quite disappointing. You’d expect much better standards when you’re not paying budget rates.

Parking was a nightmare - completely inadequate number of spaces for the amount of rooms. Spent ages driving around looking for a spot and ended up having to park far from the entrance. Unacceptable for what we paid.

The room was tiny, genuinely cramped with barely enough space to open a suitcase properly. For the money, you’d expect something more spacious. The shower setup was awful - poorly designed and difficult to use with inconsistent water pressure.

Basic amenities were missing too - no shampoo or conditioner provided, which is pretty standard even at actual budget hotels. Housekeeping was subpar as well - the sheets were old terry towelling material with hairs stuck in them. Had to request fresh bedding immediately.

Staff were pleasant enough and the location worked for our needs, plus the WiFi was reliable. The bed itself was comfortable once we got clean sheets.

But honestly, at these prices you can get much better accommodation elsewhere. The value for money just isn’t there - if they’re going to charge premium rates, they need to provide a premium experience. Would definitely look at other options next time rather than pay this much for such basic, poorly maintained facilities.
