Booked a very expensive 5 week holiday to multiple destinations with trailfinders. When booking we were told we had 30kg baggage allowance on our flights out and back but only 20kg allowance on the flights in between. When we arrived at the airport for one of the flights in between, we were told that no baggage had been booked at the time of booking and therefore we had to pay per KG for our baggage which was £430. 7 hours behind in the U.K. so unable to contact the office, tried to contact trailfinders on their urgent assistance and the number is out of service. Ended up having to book an entire new flight to avoid the £430. Emailed trailfinders and they tried to say they told us about us having no baggage allowance - laughable but standard really deflecting the blame. Nonetheless absolutely ridiculous. Why on a 5 week holiday would we knowingly pay £430 at the airport instead of just adding baggage our self beforehand to save money?
They said it’s normal practice for them to book people onto flights with no baggage allowance. Never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. No baggage allowance on a flight during a 5 week holiday? Make it make sense.

An urgent assistance line that is out of service is completely unacceptable and deflecting blame onto a customer shows the type of company this is - once they’ve had the thousands of pounds you’ve spent they don’t care for any complaints you might have. Will certainly never use trialfinders ever again.

Just booked our honeymoon for safari and Zanzibar! Rebecca was really lovely and just got exactly what we wanted. She took the time to go through everything with us and made the process nice and easy - very excited to actually go now! She also followed up with a phone call confirming that all the booking etc had been accepted which was great news!

Haven't been on the trip yet, but found booking our trip to Japan absolutely easy. Glen the guy we dealt with was great. Understood what we wanted and put it in place for a really good price. Communication with us was excellent, hope the trip is as good.
