London to Cotswolds tour off to poor start.
No tickets available at Windsor Castle, yet we had 2-1/2 hr to " look around", without a ticket to Windsor?!!! Very frustrating!

Get on the bus for 1 hour 45 to Bath and our guide puts on disco/ hip hop/ rock music, to a bus of seniors!! Where is the peace ?

Nice, organised, well located place to find. Our tour starts at 5 AM and we were on time, waiting for our bus to arrive for 25 minutes. There was no coffee machine to help you start your day at 5 AM.
I would add a coffee machine than all those brochures. Customer service sells more

Great Trafalga meet and greet place. They organise guests at start of tours and assist with onward travel arrangements at end of tours. Getting assistance with local phoning is a big help e.g. ordering taxis.

We made an E-mail enquiry about a 5-day, Best Value Tours tour to Bath & Cornwall. After some to-ing & fro-ing which resulted in me having to get a new credit card, to pay for the tour; we were about to do so when we were informed by the York Road Travel representative that he had "just checked" the Best Vale Tours itinerary, and the tour no longer went to Bath.
Of course we felt that we had to go ahead and hope for the best, at that late stage.

After paying we found out that we were actually booked on a Rabbies tour.

Additionally, both Rabbies and York Road Travel websites, do actually accept payment by American Express; whereas we had been told that they did not.

Finally, to top off this whole sorry litany, York Road Travel held back £10 of the senior discount offered by Rabbies. Rather mean spirited, I thought.

Luckily, the Rabbies tour turned out to be top notch but, obviously, much better (& cheaper). to deal directly with Rabbies.
