Fantastic service, would highly recommend. Hired a van over the weekend to pick up some sofas from Reading, picked up the van on the Saturday morning, returned on the Sunday morning. Quick pick up and drop off process, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely use again.

Fast service with a vehicle in great condition. Clean, tidy and exactly what I asked for. We had no concrete date confirmed for the move and it wasn't an issue for Townsend at all. I would recommend and will use again in the future

I booked a van for a house move and paid in full at the time of booking, as per the booking conditions. The very next day my sale fell through and I had to postpone the booking. Townsends were brilliant and just said to let them know when I would be needing the van. We had to wait 5 months before we actually got a moving date and were finally able to move. The staff member who I originally made the booking with had moved on, but Townsends had all of the information on file and honoured the original booking. Pick up and drop off was easy and stress free.

Been coming to Townsends for a number of years now, the guys have always been very helpful! Recently been using their workshop for repairs and they’ve gone above and beyond to get the vehicle back on the road.

We live on a narrowboat so haven't got our own car so we have to hire one every now and again, we've hired from Townsend three times now. The cars are in excellent condition, nearly new, prices are reasonable and the staff at Townsend are really helpful and friendly.

I recently hired van for my moving. Nice and clean vehicle, about half of the price compared to big rentals. Easy booking and pickup, no hidden costs on return. Oh and nobody push you to buy any extra insurance wich double whole rent price. Would come back 👍
