First timers staying in the overnight car park. Would definitely stay again. The toilets are very clean and tidy ,there's a lovely little shop would definitely recommend taking a look ☺️. The Staff member who drives around checking the grounds and all the sites was lovely very friendly and very helpful.
You can either pay by cash for your ticket or you can pay via phone £10 for the night which is nothing really so it's very reasonable, would definitely recommend if your planning on staying a few nights to re book your stay the following morning as we didn't and then it became fully booked very quick.

We parked for the night in our motor home for 10.00 plus all day parking for 5.00, there are no services but there are toilet facilities available if needed. This is an amazing spot for star gazing, walking and water sports, we took my partners inflatable kayak to try out. There is a lovely shop selling hot drinks, snacks, ice cream and gifts and the staff are fabulous, give advice/information if needed. I would definately recommend a visit to this beautiful unspoilt area, which is so peaceful and tranquil..

Enjoyed our day here. Good walks and good facilities. Had a lovely coffee/cake. Staff is very friendly. Toilets clean. Parking used cash, so have £1 pound coins ready. If not, you go to the visitor centre where you can park. The ticket is valid for other parking spots along the forest route.

Nice facility with clean toilets, decent shop and fafe. Great views of Kielder water and free Osprey cam.

Nice I’m summer but everything comes at a price, with the exception of the toilets which are free. Parking isn’t cheap, the food limited and marked up and the gift shop expensive. Jetty is private and limited walking too. Fishing is good but permit not cheap.

Went back late December and it was fully closed. Still had to pay for parking so I could use the toilets, but to my disdain, they were locked up.

Grear parking with wide bays. Picnic tables for snacks. Some lakeside walks still closed. Immaculate toilets. Parking £2 for an hour,or £5 All day. Cafe and shop open, cafe take out service.

This is a very clean place to visit it has the osprey view centre also a shop and the toilets are very well kept nice place just to sit and have a coffee it's also popular with the fisherman you can get your day ticket from the shop or on line if that's easier and it's on the main loop around kielder so if you biking or walking around the dam you will pass this place .also it's a nice place to park and pick up the trail and do the full loop of 27 miles it's quite hilly but if you not in a rush most people can manage it just a few hill that might need to be walked up plus all-day parking for 5 pounds is a real bargain well worth it for a day out

Parking here costs £2 for an hour or £5 for the day. The ticket is valid for the other car parks around the lake with £10 for overnight parking, popular with Campervans. The Caffe was closed by I was able to buy snacks at the visitor centre. The best views of the lake are not here. Go a short way east to the concrete dam wall where there are car parks either side and you can drive across the top to the far side.
