We had a marvelous time on the Brontes and Jane Austen tours. Highlights included the Jane Austen Parade and home in Chawton, evensong at Winchester Cathedral, visiting Grassington and
riding through the Yorkshire dales “All Creatures Great and Small,” Shibden Hall (Anne Lister), and Bolton Abbey. Loved Haworth! Brontë parsonage and lunch at Pave cafe…wish we could have stayed in a bed and breakfast in this quaint town. Both our guides were informative and passionate about the places we visited. Stayed in England another week continuing our literary pilgrimage.

Tours International provided us with an amazing tour guide by the name of Rob Deere. This fella was absolutely amazing from the time he rounded us up in London until he saw us off at the airport in Paris.
The gentleman knew his stuff and presented it all with professionalism. As a retired US Army Combat Engineer, he went out of his way to highlight events that would pique my interest. Was looking forward to this trip for years, and they definitely did not disappoint.

Have just returned from the 80th commemoration of Operation Market Garden. Coaches were comfortable, hotel was great (buffet breakfasts and dinner exceptional). Shame it was quite a long way from Arnhem and Oosterbeek, which meant, due to trvel times, events felt a little hurried. Obviously this was a necessary price to pay in order to fit so much in. My sister and I were able to retrace our father’s footsteps from the landing zone to the hospital where he was taken prisoner. Our guide, Brian was excellent - he continued despite almost losing his voice, and he was interested in the photos and memorabilia we brought with us. He showed us some of the main highlights of the battle, and has encyclopedic knowlege of the events. Giles, the guide on the other coach, also gave us some really valuable information when we shared our story. Also extremely knowledgeable. It was an extraordinary, moving and interesting weekend. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Tours International again. Thank you to all involved for making it so memorable.

The hotel was excellent, our battlefield guide was great, and the drivers were very efficient (don't often go somewhere and get back home to London early!).

Wonderful tour with great guide and bus driver! I feel that being part of a tour allowed us to see and experience SO much, when London itself was teeming with people for the coronation. Excursions were interesting and very enjoyable. Being able to be amongst the crowds during the coronation was a highlight! The hotel was fine and in a great location for catching the tube. Had an amazing time!

We were on the 80th Anniversary of D-Day tour. Our tour guide, Rob Deere was phenomenal. His extensive knowledge of D-Day and enthusiasm made our whole experience unforgettable. He was with our very large group for the entire tour from London, Normandy and Paris and kept track of everyone. He paid special attention to my husband and me because we had a wheelchair with us. He made sure that we were all set up before attending to the others. We told everyone about our wonderful trip to Normandy and recommended Tours International and ESPECIALLY Rob Deere. We did the 80th Anniversary of D-Day tour. Our host & guide, Piers Storie-Pugh, was outstanding! He along with the bus driver, Christophe, took us on an amazing tour to include some very interesting off the beaten path sites. Piers obviously has a passion for history and for making it come alive as he made sure all of us on the tour got the most out of it. The hotel accommodations were first class and the food was 5 star. Communication with International Tours was excellent. We had such a wonderful experience and I will recommend International Tours to my friends and family. The tour was lovely, brilliant and memorable!

Arnhem 80th Commemoration - Battlefield Tour.
I recently had the pleasure to travel with Tours International to Arnhem. This was my first experience of any coach tour, as a coach would never have been my preferred mode of travel. The coach was quite comfortable; our driver Gareth was excellent; our guide Brian, was very knowledgeable and adaptive - and other tour members, actually contributed to the overall experience by contributing their personal knowledge.
As with any driving experience heavy traffic, local event changes and delays and road closures can affect both the timetable and detailed itinerary. These were both minimised and mitigated by the skills and experience of the guide and driver.
Thank you Tours International! A very good experience
