Feel bad to write this.. but true.
Having visited, and enjoyed, very much many holidays in Scarborough myself and my family endured an exceptionally high number of seagull droppings on to our clothes, while walking the promenade, also when stopping to sit and drink/eat out on the outside tables at the cafes, the seats and tables were covered in seagull droppings, much worse than previous trips, not so sure why?, but enough for us to not visit again, shame really because we like Scarborough.

Sincerely this is not a tourist information point. This is a place where you can take information about... Nothing. If you want information is better to use Google maps and see where are the tourist interests. We came at winter, I suppose that in summer this will be different.

En el teatro cerca de la estación, dentro podrás acceder a un teléfono de información, el problema es que si no hablas inglés no podrás comunicarte correctamente con el operador. Y creo que les falta tener un mapa de la ciudad (al menso yo, en el punto de información, no lo vi.)
