Charged £50 for a 22 minute journey. Travelling to a venue for a wedding so knew numerous people who'd also pre-booked with this taxi company and been picked up from the same place as us, or just round the corner. We found out those trips were charged at £40. They obviously make the prices up as they go. Wouldn't use again.

We booked a taxi a fortnight ahead of the travel date to take us to Dunbar Station for the early morning London train. When I phoned, the night before our journey, to check that the booking was still as planned the office quickly confirmed that all was as agreed.
Following morning the taxi was waiting outside the house before the appointed pick-up time, took us to the station quietly efficiently and got us there in good time for the train.
This was good service from Torrance Taxis and a pleasing start to our journey to France.

I have never in my life left a review on Google or any social media. However, I couldn’t wait to leave this one. Myself and my brother were in a really small town of east Linton looking to go to east fortune ( about a 5-10 minute drive). My uncle and old man were charged £25 by this company which is shocking.. but under stable given they need to travel etc. however about 2 hours later a barmaid in the same pub asked this mob for the same taxi and they quoted £40. The girl that was on the phone then stated this and the lady from Dunbar taxis told her she wouldn’t pick us up as she isn’t arguing prices. There wasn’t no argument. However… we phoned her back and stated one of us was disabled and she then laughed at us and gave us a mouthful and then stated she wouldn’t take us home! After an hours wait a local took us home. I genuinely hope this woman gets sacked, exposed or this mob gets shut down! Disgusting

Super friendly and efficient service! We changed our departure time on the day, and this didn't cause any problem. The taxi was on time, very spacious, and as it was raining hard, the gentleman even arrived a bit in advance, so we did not have to wait in the rain. Will definitely use again next time I go to Dunbar! Thank you 🙂

While attending a roadside breakdown where the vehicle needed to be recovered to a garage, we urgently needed to get a wheelchair accessible taxi for the occupant to get them home. One phonecall to Torrance Taxis and Sarah had dispatched a taxi with a wheelchair ramp immediately to our location, friendly efficient and excellent local service.

I scheduled for a taxi this morning as I had to catch a train for a job interview. I wish I’d caught my driver’s name but he was the most wonderful person - well mannered and very easy to talk to. Made me feel more confident about my interview even though the drive wasn’t very long. I wanted to put in a good word for him as I thought he was brilliant. And just to let him know that I got the job 😀
