What a fantastic experience from start to finish. We felt so well cared for and enjoyed every second! The Raptor certainly didn't disappoint, the speed was exhilarating and our tour guide Rho was great and very informative. Would definitely recommend, worth every penny!

What a fantastic experience, from the booking to the safety briefing and then onto the sea for an hour across the bay, it goes in a flash. Greg was really knowledgeable, funny and played some great tunes.

We saw, seals, plenty of cormorants, Guillemots and other birds and even a few pods of Porpoises.

Having misplaced my previous Radio operators licence which I had taken some years ago, and recently qualified as an NCI Watch keeper, to complete my qualification it was necessary to re-sit the RYA short radio course.
This took place on 19th, October 2024 at Torquay Water Sports HQ, situated alongside Torquay Marina, the heart of the English Riviera, from where they offer an extensive range of nautical experiences, including the spectacular high speed Raptor 1, they also operate a fully registered RYA training centre offering a comprehensive range of nautical based training courses, which include, sailing, boat handling, diving and navigational courses.
It was necessary for the writer to retrain and re-sit the radio exam, as DSC and several other VHF radio upgrades have been introduced since I had previously obtained my licence.
The course, whilst extensive, took place in just one day, was extremely well organised, and very much hands on, I particularly enjoyed the group participation and teamwork, which was slick and very professionally presented.
The course concluded with an exam carried out by a fully qualified RYA assessor, following which I was delighted to be presented with my pass certificate.
Now, as a fully trained NCI watchkeeper I look forward to logging on for my first spate of watch keeping activities at the Torbay NCI Tower, and look forward to continue working with Torbay Water Sports, albeit via VHF Radio on channel 65.
I highly recommend the T.W.S RYA Training centre to anyone looking to improve their nautical knowledge base or marine activities, which can only add to ones future enjoyment of all aspects of marine activities.

What an amazing trip. My husband and I did the 90 minute coastal tour and can't believe how quickly the time went. John was a brilliant guide and it was a fantastic combination of fun and historical interest. I couldn't stop smiling from beginning to end.

Family thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip. Beautiful scenery and encounters with dolphins, grey seals, jellyfish and many birds. The driver was extremely knowledgeable and good natured. Overall, a great experience - thank you Torquay Watersports!

Had the best trip out this morning, me and my wife had an amazing time, the rider was very funny and certainly knew his stuff, saw 4 seals on route basking in the sun and seen jelly fish. Will certainly be going back again when next down this way. Thanks to the team, super friendly 👍🏼👍🏼😁

Oh and the donuts were so much fun 😁
