Booked a luxury 5 day break, at just shy of £1800- 2 days in Jersey and 3 days in Guernsey

First two days perfect in The Club Hotel & Spa
with our best ever meal in Behemia Restaurant (Michelin Starred)

Then travelled to our next destination Hotel Jerbourg to find a very dated, bland, tired and none to clean with very old bedding and broken bathroom fittings in our bedroom. I had a severe asthma attack due to bedding, with old carpet and we could not get ANY assistance. We tried the landlines in bedroom and use of mobiles, even walked around the hotel. After a complete self service of breakfast with still no staff on reception, we told the young waiter (the only staff we saw briefly for less than a minute)we were checking out.

We phoned both Secret Escapes and Top Tours International ltd and had to wait all day to get any response. We spent the day sorting ourselves out with accommodation, which was very hard as the island was full.

In fairness the hotel manager, called at 6pm and was very polite and apologetic, accepting our valid and photographic evidence of our complaint. We were assured that no charges would be made for any of our intended three nights stay.

Over a week later and still no written response or apology, let alone our due refund as confirmed.

A good location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms nicely set out especially looking out to sea. Food very good. A must stay for any tourist.
