I had a great experience with Tootbus London. The quality and number of buses were excellent. I’d also like to mention the driver, John, who was very kind and helpful. After completing his shift, he walked us from the British Museum to Trafalgar Square to show us the nearest bus stop for the blue route while he waited for the next driver.

Myself and my other half had a great experience on the Christmas Lights tour this evening (28th December- 9PM bus)
We had run late for our 7PM booking but a couple of extremely helpful staff members squeezed us onto a later bus, for which we are extremely grateful! Our guide was funny and very informative and our driver was lovely too- highly recommended!

I took the Tootbus for a London Christmas lights tour and Hasna was absolutely wonderful. Her customer service was top-tier, above and beyond. She came with us to the bus and make sure we got good seats and told us all the different spots that we’re going to check out. I 100% recommend using this service for your tour. 10/10 will recommend! I booked the Christmas lights tour for my mum as she had never been up to see them. Booking was easy to make and the location/pickup/drop off point was easy to find. The tour was booked early Friday evening so there was a real feel good atmosphere. We were met by friendly staff and provided Christmas hats to wear. The tour itself was decent and what we expected of it, we were also kept entertained throughout with Xmas music and facts around London, some cheesy Christmas jokes were also told to make you laugh or groan 🤣. The tour itself lasted around 70 minutes due to London traffic and early Friday evening.

I felt it was decent value for money and my mum loved it which was the whole point of the trip.

There had also been a little rain which made my photos a little blurry, to be honest I don't take a great picture at the best of times anyway.

Look, london is great and any open top bus is going to benefit from the fact that London is just amazing to sightsee. I went with my partner and we took our own snacks and drinks and had a great time in the sunshine.

However, I would have loved to have actually learnt something.

The quality of the audio tour is honestly terrible. The majority of the facts were either a 5 second fact about quite random churches that no one cares about, or about how expensive London is. There was a fake fact about why Oyster cards are called Oyster cards and at one point they’re talking about Marble Arch and say ‘no idea how they moved the arch.’ You’re the tour. Look it up. Whoever’s idea it was to pretend it’s Londoners (actors) who are doing the audio should be sacked. It just means that you get useless fake anecdotes about ‘the wonder of London as they stand on a bridge’ rather than anything actually useful. I’ve never had a worse audio or real life tour. Can’t believe they recorded this and then translated it.

There was a period of about 20-30 mins where they gave no facts when we were in Chelsea. You honestly have nothing to say about Chelsea? Nothing?

Save your money, go on a different bus tour (we now have to go again to actually learn anything.)

Oh also the side of our bus wasn’t properly connected and rattled dangerously the entire way.

Great day out with my partner, all to do with her and London, nothing to do with the tour. (My partner has told me to add that the driver was good at driving.)

I am extremely unhappy after being rushed and pressured into the bus and being reassured to having a great experience and then not enjoying it at all. It got some of us sick even with heavy clothing as it was quite cold, I totally understand it is hard to heat an open top bus though. Besides that, the tour wasnt even really a tour, more like an overpriced, extremely long, unpleasant bus ride. And we came off 1 hour into it with 2.5 hours left. The bus driver was rude as-well and when I emailed about it I keep getting asked questions when I have given enough information for them to give me a refund already. I have been patient until this point, do not go on toot bus, very unpleasant.
