Unbelievable experience! Hever castle was on my bucket list due to its history with the Boleyn family. It did not disappoint! The area and grounds are like stepping into a postcard—absolutely beautiful. Mark made the experience so much better with his knowledge and expertise (not just in the Tudor period—across history). The tour felt more than a tour with wonderful discussions and interesting topics covered. Our 4-year old son was along for the tour and enjoyed it greatly with a great affinity to Mark ? This tour was even more amazing than I could’ve imagined—I can’t recommend it (and Mark especially) highly enough!

We spent a wonderful day visiting Hever Castle with Mark. Communication before the tour was excellent, everything ran smoothly and on time, and we had the benefit of Mark’s expertise in exploring the castle and gardens (rain notwithstanding) and even eating lunch at a local pub. Mark is a fabulous guide. So much so that we hired him for two days of tours to Windsor, Avebury, Stonehenge, and Salisbury. I was there with my husband and ten girlfriends on a fortieth birthday celebration. So we were a big group and he did an amazing job navigating us and the history of each place. We had a great time. Mark is dynamic and fun to be around and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Mark was amazing, from the prep before we arrived all the way through to the end. He was able to accommodate every wish we had, making our trip completely seamless. Some of us had been to London several times before, and Mark came up with two unique days filled with perfect first time experiences for all of us. We are a family of six, and he hit spots for every single kiddo. Personalized to the max. Not to mention he took professional grade photos, and made our family look like we all loved each other (quite a feat with 4 siblings!). We will definitely be calling him again next time around!

We had the pleasure of Mark taking us on a private tour of Hampton Court. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny and engaging. The car trip flew by with chatting and a lovely vehicle. Once at Hampton Court our tour wasn't rushed and Mark asked what our particular interests were.
The boat trip was relaxing, very pretty and enhanced by a delicious picnic packed beautifully by his wife. Very nice food, crockery, glasses and 2 bottles of fizz. Mark collected us at a designated spot and drove us back to our hotel. I highly recommend this tour and would definitely book with Mark again
