Had a lovely, one night stay last night at Tickton Grange. The room was fabulous and we relaxed so quickly it was hard to tear ourselves away to go down for dinner! Dinner was superb, excellent quality and the staff and service were fantastic. Hope to be back soon.

Thanks to our very kind friends, I had a voucher for afternoon tea for two for a 'big' birthday present.
We'd like to thank everyone at Tickton Grange for a really lovely afternoon. The food was delicious, just hitting the mark between 'nicely full' and ' too stuffed to move'... copious amounts of tea too.
Friendly, attentive and helpful staff.
Elegantly presented in beautiful surroundings, it really was a special and memorable treat.

Lovely afternoon tea at Tickton Grange. It was myself, a friend, my aunt and grandma who are both in their 90s. The afternoon tea was plentiful and delicious - I must say it is better than Betty’s, in our opinion. One diner has some dietary requirements so I emailed them over ahead of time and everything was catered for perfectly for her. We sat in the dining room in the bay window looking out on the perfectly preened garden, which was lovely. We have sat in the library before which is as nice, but felt the higher table in the dining room was better for my aunt and grandma. All of the servers were very friendly and made us feel special. The young lady that greeted us was lovely (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name!), Eileen couldn’t do enough for us, and a man came over to welcome us, who I assume was the owner. We all felt very special and comfortable. There is also a very nice day time menu if afternoon tea isn’t your thing! We are already looking at our diaries to arrange a date to come back!

This is a great place for an afternoon tea if you are gluten free. Very clued up about cross contamination and a fab variety of sweet treats and delicate sandwiches. The gluten free bread is some of the best I have eaten. My favourite is their gluten free scone-fluffy and delicious.
The surroundings are lovely and the roaring fires on a cold day are very welcome. The staff have always been attentive and chatty.

Every visit to Tickton Grange feels special. Our latest visit was for a spring time lunch and it didn’t disappoint! Sitting in the Hockney bar looking out over the grounds with excellent food in a beautiful setting we felt special again. The sandwiches come with those little extras Tickton does so well…. Nothing is too much trouble for Ilene and all the staff, with everyone treated with the same courtesy. |So with delicious food and exceptional service at such great value for money, we will be back as soon as we can.

I chose Tickton Grange for my Golden Wedding celebration. We had a private family party of 20 in the Broadley room. It was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was first class. It was extremely comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere.|Thank you to all the staff for making my special occasion perfect.

I attended a wedding function at this hotel. Wow what a fantastic location The food was excellent my wife had a food allergy and the staff went over and above to serve her needs. I highly recommend this hotel. The only negative point was the outside lighting wasn't very good when leaving the venue.

We visit for the afternoon tea selection whenever we have a special occasion. The food is delicious, the staff are extremely professional and friendly. They have no issues with dealing with allergy requirements. Highly recommend tasting this if in the area.
