So many times I’ve arrived at Ayr Station expecting..hoping to find the pre arranged assessable taxi, arranged by Scot rail, to take me home to Girvan. Sadly time and time again it’s not there and doesn’t show up at the prearranged time. 4 times now Thistle Taxies have come to my rescue and picked me up and taken me home, drivers who were about to finish for the day ( Chris) have stayed on to help or drivers on days off ( Steven)have shown up because they have such compassion for someone who needs a wheelchair assessable vehicle to get home. The drivers have been pleasant, helpful, friendly and respectful. I can’t recommend this firm highly enough…my experience of them is that they genuinely care about the wellbeing of their customers, highly recommend them.

Shocking service these days and £22 to get home from a friends house in the same town! Bring uber to Kilmarnock would rather give their drivers a £10 tip than pay these cowboys.
