We did the paddlesteamer trip, taking the little steam train from Wroxham to Buxton and canoed back.

It's a fantastic way to experience the area. It was supremely quiet, calming and we saw plenty of wildlife.

The man who sorted us out with the canoe in Buxton gave us plenty of tips on what to look out for and how not to capsize and sink.

Great location, you can choose to either head into the busier section to see the houses etc or just paddle up stream to see the beautiful scenery. I can't remember her name, but the lady that helped us on the day was really helpful and welcoming. We paid a little bit more than a couple of other places but the flexibility on time and service made it worthwhile.

Booked online it cost £60 for two 2 person canoes. Found them easy to use and life vests, paddles and a dry bag all supplied. We had 2 hours of peace and tranquility on the Broads before returning to Wroxham to return the canoes and a well deserved pint at the pub next to the river. There was a guy there from thecanoeman and he was great most helpful and a lovely guy. Well recommended I will go again myself in the future.

We had a wonderful time hiring a Canoe at Wroxham. We booked on the day, and they accommodated us quickly with everything we needed. The equipment was great and the scenery was stunning. Next time we're in the Broads we'll definitely be hiring from The Canoe Man again.

Let me rearrange my paddle boarding booking with no fuss, but the paddle boards were terrible quality with water spilling over the sides from the start of the trip. Completely ignored my feedback when we got back to Wroxham as well as my subsequent email expressing disappointment. I guess he is called the canoe man not the paddle board man for a reason.

Booking and pick-up/drop-off process was simple. Everything was ready for when we arrived (we were early). We were met by a member of staff who made sure we were OK with everything. Paddled towards Coltishall on a nice sunny day and avoided most of the motor boats. Perfect.

Fabulous little shop full of tatt 😁. Some lovely items as souvenirs of your trip to the Norfolk Broads. Sensible prices and the gent serving me was friendly and pleasant. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area.
Who doesn't want a fridge magnet with a picture of a motorhome on it ? Loved this shop.
