We had an amazing Christmas in 2024, our second Christmas at the Wight. We were very well looked after throughout our stay, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful as always, making us feel very relaxed and at home. The room was clean and housekeeping was perfect. The food was outstanding, and we had good company in the bar each evening with great entertainment. The Bingo was a lot of fun too. After a nice stroll along the beach we enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool, and the Jacuzzi was wonderful. Just what we needed !

Just returned from The Wight after spending a wonderful four night 23-27th Dec stay. Our hosts Fran and John and their staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Our accommodation was excellent and very clean. Our room was cleaned every day throughout Christmas. Food was plentiful and very tasty with a good choice. We highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend this Hotel. Fran and John go above and beyond to ensure everyone's stay is special. Food is plentiful, varied and good. Accomodation is clean , serviced with lovely friendly staff and all home comforts. Handy location. Pool, games room and welcoming friendly bar. Prices help for several years making a stay here a great option.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a superior double and the shower was over a large bath. The staff were very attentive and friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Really good quality food. The jurassic was an experience my husband really enjoyed! I had smoked haddock and scrambled eggs which were cooked perfectly and they were willing to change and add bits to your breakfast to change it to your liking. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

We recently had a four night stay at the hotel & thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. We chose this hotel because of the indoor pool & the fact it is doggy friendly. The reception staff were very friendly & welcoming, as were the kitchen & restaurant staff, bar & house keeping team. The breakfasts were amazing - both in quantity & variety, plus the staff couldn’t have been more kind & helpful. Will definitely return.. making it our fourth visit. Thank you again.. you were all amazing!!

Given 5 stars as I can't really fault it for the price. Great breakfast choice and rooms nice and clean. The pool is somewhat dated but compared to the cost of other hotels with pools it's a bargain. Not a lot of activity at night but we were out of season to be fair. Staff are really lovely and the hotel has arrangements for discounted meals at nearby places. The ferry was organised by the hotel for a 50% discount so all in all a pleasant trip. I don't usually focus on price but credit where it's due.

As a regular at the wight hotel, our stay was awesome, the staff was amazing, and went that extra mile.the rooms was clean and tidy,beds comfortable and cleaned every day. The owners was helpful and polite and receptionist was lovely. |The breakfast was one in a million, always hot and plenty of choice, waiting on staff was helpful and happy, Terry and Chelsea was a lovely (thanks)|The bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced, the bar staff was awesome. I have had a wonderful first trip to the island, and so glad that I chose to stay at The Wight. The staff are all fantastic and friendly, the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. The room was fine, the whole hotel was over warm, I had to keep a window open and turn off the radiator.

The only thing that I did not enjoy was the entertainment, I have seen better in residential care homes. The bar staff made evenings bearable, as did going out most evenings to find other locations, which was unfortunate as I chose this hotel because it has entertainment and as a solo female I did not really want to go out alone at night.
