Wonderful pub. We visited one Saturday and sat in the garden with our lunchtime- we shared a BLT and chunky chips. Great service, food delicious and dog friendly. Beach nearby of course.

Had lunch here today with our 2 dogs. Husband enjoyed his fish and chips but my roast dinner was AMAZING- the best I've had. There was such a variety and lots of it, all piping hot. The staff were young, very attentive and seemed genuinely pleased that we enjoyed our meal. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Went with a few friends for our first Christmas meal of the season. It was amazing. The service was impeccable, all on time and piping hot.The food was delicious and everyone in our party enjoyed their selection. Well done The White Horse Team and thank you for a memorable evening.

Stayed here for a long weekend away. The pub itself is in an ideal spot. However, the rooms and service were not so great.
My husband and I and 2 other family members had dog friendly rooms, which were clean. However, it didn't pass as dog friendly, cream carpets for starters and not very big. Also I would of thought with it been a dog friendly room there would of been some sort of drying rack in the rooms for wet doggy towels (as it was October) furthermore there were no boot racks for muddy walking boots. I would have thought there 2 items would have been a basic necessity in any room (where ramblers stay) but especially in a dog friendly one.
It was very difficult to dry anything after a wet walk as the heating didn't come on, I did ask for this to be put on and I got a very unhelpful response saying they were warm in thr pub so if they put it on everyone in one half of thebpub might be too warm. It then came on very briefly the day before we left, but it was difficult to dry anything as the radiators were not very big.
My Brother in Law in lactose intolerant so when we got there on the first day we did mention this, however they didn't have any in, so you would think of you had a guest telling you that this is the case you would source some oat or almond milk, but no this was not the case they didn't do that for the duration of the stay.

This is honest feedback, and I would like to say I enjoyed my stay, but there are a few things to consider for dog friendly rooms and people with intolerance. Simply be prepared.

Had a lovely stay here the food was amazing, the rooms nice comfortable and clean

My partner booked to stay on the 8th March, and we booked through booking.com. On arrival, it was obvious that the photos on their site were very vell taken but did not reflect reality. The room was smelly and when we checked the mattress it was like a crime scene with all the stains. We took photos and showed them to the management. We received a refund without a quibble and left the premises to stay somewhere else.
