Firstly, the staff are excellent - really friendly and helpful throughout the whole 4 day stay. Better service than many of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and this makes such a huge difference. The barman even ran off to a local shop to get some slimline tonic for me, which was amazing. Secondly, the location is perfect (really near the seafront), and thirdly our room was really spacious and comfortable.||The only downsides really were no plugs in any of the baths (due to a plumbing issue that is apparently unlikely to be resolved this season), rusty toilet roll and towel holders, no fridge, and no decaf coffee in room. ||Loved the old fashioned nature of the hotel and no complaints about the food.

Outside appearance smart and lit up at night making it warm and welcoming . To the left of the foyer was the bar area very smart and the young bartender was knowledgeable about the drinks and even produced a cocktail or two and was social. To the right of the foyer were two seating areas, very smart and the dining area also smart. The staff were lovely and chatty. A nice touch was that they lined up when guests were arriving for dinner. The starter and sweet were served to you, but the main course was carvery style. The food very good. The bedrooms were minimalistic and tidy but needed a lick of paint and shower unit needed to be replaced, although it worked well the appearance was grotty. If you needed a shower cubicle I would ask for a room with one. when booking. Room spacious. Bathroom spacious. The corridors although had the lovely oldy worldy features could do with a lick of paint. Overall a lovely stay at a charming seaside hotel.

I stayed 2 nights at £35 per night. The building is old so floorboards creak and the lift is a trip back in time 🙂 |Water pressure was amazing, on 2nd floor! And i had a rainfall shower.| Bedding and towels spotless|Lots of tea, coffee, sugar and 2 bottles of water|Manager polite and helpful - my first time staying in Yarmouth|FREE PARKING by beach!|Loses one point for the mattress though.

Rooms crowded with 2 si gle beds and a doublebed and a single wardrobe only. 2 chairs 1 of which was directly under the tv, which could not be placed anywhere else. Wardrobe was in the way of window, and if the door was opened you could not get out of double bed. No lamp or socket on either side of double bed, in order to use toilet in night all lights had to go on or fumble in the dark. AS FOR BEEN ASKED AT BREAKFAST what you want for your evening meal, when working you have to think about that NOT ON HOLIDAY. Bar staff brilliant, knew exactly what they were doing. The rest like Fawlty Towers, would do better as a Csre Hone maybe

Do not stay at any costs. My boyfriend and i stayed this weekend, expecting a nice bed and breakfast. We found it was not welcoming, the receptionist was grumpy and soon told us there was no food at all being served.
The room had cobwebs, a squeaky bed, dirty cups, stinky carpet and black mold in the bathroom.
When we went to wash, we found the bath was dirty and dusty, and the plug didn't even fit, as well as there being limescale all over the shower head.

Got readmitted to hospital the day before my 4 day trip which cost £440 for 2 rooms o only to be told that they wouldn't do a refund or change the dates of the trip, seem to me that there now only interested in taking the money from you without providing a service. Completely disappointed as over the last 12 years it has been a place to stay when visiting my daughter and her family maybe 2 to 3 times a year 😢 😤

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND. Didn’t feel welcome greeted by a grumpy receptionist who gave us no information at all. The room was awful wobble bathroom tiles ,cobwebs, unstable bed, black mould awful shower pressure takes 5 minutes to warm up. No food whatsoever although it was advised the only good thing was the walk to the beach wasn’t far. i wouldn’t give a start if I could
