I was on the 6 weeks east cost trip and oh my god what an experience .First and foremost our incredible tour guide Kate made this trip what it was .I’ve never had a leader that was so attentive but also encouraged us to explore ourselves .She is the absolute dream of a tour leader and I couldn’t be more thankful that we were blessed with her .Wether it was going out or exploring the areas or just needing a freind kate did all of it to perfection and there was never a point where she didn’t handle situations perfectly.As someone that has done many tours with many different tour companies and guides I can say whole heartedly than none of them compare to Kate .The only part that I hated about this trip was having to say goodbye to her and Australia ?.I genuinely cannot put into words what a difference kate made ,wether it was her first hand experience of the country as an Australian or her genuine personality brightening our days I can honestly say that everyone on our tour including me loved her so much .she was an absolute ray of sunshine .

Just finished the 6 week east coast explorer with Ryan and had the best time. As a first time solo traveller Ryan made me feel really comfortable and his help with food, drink and activity recommendations also played a part in this. Ryan did a good job at rearranging things last minute when bad weather affected multiple days of our tour also to accommodate when complications would arise within the group. I had the best time in Australia but with regards to the tour I think we spent too long in places like surfers and not enough time in Brisbane as if you’re doing multiple added extras you have no time in the city. Also when choosing optional activities there was no time to think about it after being shown what was on offer. Some of the optional activities were also a complete waste of money (cape tribulation), no one on our tour enjoyed the day so am not sure why it’s on offer for over $200. A lot of the activities we’re also more expensive than if you were to book them yourself separately. Also the included ‘walking tours’ weren’t much of a tour. Ultimate had also incorrectly booked extra nights stay post/ prior to the tour for multiple people on the tour.

Still overall had a great time and made lifelong friends and memories despite being left at the zoo.
