Very cool and understated treasure trove of costumes, props and memorabilia from UK science fiction legacy. Beautiful stuff stored in a labyrinth of display cases and plenty of Daleks too. Don't hesitate, get yourself along and take a brilliant trip down memory lane.

After a long drive from Wirral specifically to visit this museum to see the only Mechanoid prop on display in UK, we were initially afraid it was closed as front door locked. A dog barking was the only sign of life. However, outside were 2 or 3 standing signs advertising the museum so we knocked loudly. A man peeked around the door and said he was putting the dog away and then opened to us. (So persevere if door not open). Immediately upon entering we were greeted with a lovely old style dark(ish) entrance lobby crammed full of artifacts and photos in a deliberate haphazard display. It seemed small at first glance but full of wonders in every crevice. Of course this was only the entrance. The main exhibition was down some very narrow and steep steps (but perfectly safe with care) to a series of rooms and glass displays. The majority of these are Doctor Who but others include Gerry Anderson and Red Dwarf. Mixed in with 2nd world war artifacts. We spent a good 2 hours in there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Andy Glazzard was the perfect curator and very knowledgeable about all the displays. PLEASE NOTE. Andy intends to sell off the contents at auction and there are some very rare and original props here that will have worldwide attention. SO VISIT NOW if you want a last look at them.

Took my father in law here today for a birthday treat. He is a massive Dr who fan and thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent here. The host (sorry I didn't catch your name) was very knowledgeable and friendly , he clearly has a great deal of passion for this collection/museum. It is well worth the cost of admission and will leave a lasting memory for any true fan, thankyou from the guys from Newport ?

£10 entry but supports a local treasure trove.

I'm a massive Dr who fan so it was really interesting to see bits and pieces from through the ages. Its was all a bit haphazard but fascinating in a weird way and almost to much to take in in a small space . Also stuff from a few other sifi shows. Not wheelchair or small children friendly and the entry price was a lot more than advertised check before you go
