Excellent, friendly and efficient taxi service. We were staying in Braintree for an evening event at Chelmsford Racecourse and The Taxi Man were recommended to us by the hotel. We booked in advance and on the day the control centre contacted us with driver and vehicle details and with clear pick up arrangements. The traffic was chaotic but they got all 7 of us in and out on time - exceptional service especially given the gridlock caused by the event.
We were all able to relax and enjoy our evening as we so impressed and confident in the contact we had from the office and also The Taxi Man drivers who kept in touch with updates as they were arriving.
Do not hesitate to book - we highly recommend them. Don’t park at the Racecourse events- it takes 2 hours to get out!! Just book The Taxi Man!

The driver was very polite, sent a text message confirming the booking and then a phone call when he arrived. Would definitely recommend him for any journey you may need a taxi for. Will definitely use again if I need a taxi anywhere.

Big thank you to Veejay who dedicated himself to picking myself and two friends up from Chelmsford Racecourse after Justin Timberlake gig. Complete chaos after gig with traffic jams and road closures but he didn't give up and made sure he collected us.
Not 5 stars as the office wanted us to walk to a pub half hour away to be picked up or give us a refund.
