One of, if not, the best tank collection that exists. While I was there around 6 months ago, I still hold vivid memories of it - seeing the tanks that I've only dreamed about. It was like a paradise, a paradise full of tanks - British and not.

While it's a bit far from London, coming at a 2.5-hour long train ride along the South-Western Railway(SWR) from London Waterloo, it's worth it. The tanks, they are all maintained well. The staff, they are all willing to answer any questions you have about the exhibits. Finally, the vibes. It's nothing too tense. You can even visit with your family and spend a good 4 hours. Even if they are not big tank/history buffs.

10/10, will definitely visit again.

Great day out. Would highly recommend.
We visited for the Tiger day
I was very impressed with the battle reenactment in the arena using the very tanks themselves.
Most definitely a FULL day out with the amount there is to see and learn about.

It was a ticketed event which did sell out.
They could have probably squeezed more people in for the day to maximise tickets hiwver they obviously choose not too to try and keep things flowing around museum and not make it too crowded which again is a huge + from me.

Will go back for sure as didn't have time to read all the story's and see every single exhibit, on top of this would go back just for the live display of tanks as this was exceptionally good πŸ‘

Tanks; a lot. With so many seemingly similar vehicles to see, I feel this attraction would've benefited from more availability of guided tours. The Great War exhibit was particularly good and the cafe was decent. On-site parking is plentiful. Allow 2-3 hours for your visit. Pre-booking is recommended, especially if you're visiting for the 'Tank Fest'.

Being Ex-military it's a must. However don't worry about that. It's a great place for all. Last time I came here I was 7, that's a long time ago πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The tick lasts a year, so just drop by again. We will, since on this occasion I used the visit to check on an old buddy of mine in the Barracks πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί.

A must see for all

If you are a tank enthusiast I suggest that you plan to spend the whole day here. It's a great museum with a lot of tanks from WW1, 2 and Cold War Era. They also had some live vehicle shows also at scheduled times. Highly recommend.

Tiger Day (on my birthday) with my husband was a great time! We traveled from Denver, CO to see the tanks. He’s watched all of the YouTube videos so for us to see the Tiger 131 in action was a memorable event. Highly recommend if you know anyone obsessed with tanks!

They also had plenty of food stands with savory foods, coffee, tea, beer and some sweet treats.

Fabulous place to visit, very large and lots to see (& touch). Split into different areas, it flows well and lots to see and interact with. Lots of kid friendly sections including wartime shops & living room, toy tanks and even tank computer games. Check out the events page on the website for Tank demonstrations. A small cafe / drink stop downstairs currently next to soft play area. Upstairs is full cafe with plenty of seating. A worthwhile visit.

Astoundingly good. You need more than just a day here. You need more than a week here. There's so much to see you could go round and round again and again and your head would still be on a swivel. It's that good.
