My wife and I have been Sovereign Cruise clients for over five years and have used their services to book cruises (Seabourn, Cunard and Oceania) initially as residents of Canada then subsequently as residents of the UK after we moved.

Our experience with Sovereign over the years has been absolutely superb. Communication, both written and verbal, has been clear, professional and timely. We have two cruises booked with them this year (Caribbean & Mediterranean) and we would not hesitate to book with them again.

I have used this company to book several P&O cruises. The website is easy to use and gives useful information, including the prices of the different grades of cabin. I have always made the bookings by phone and have received excellent and polite service. The final prices are always lower than making the arrangements with the cruise line and I feel I can safely recommend this company,

Ignore David Pope, he must be a very awkward, hard to please person. The Sovereign Cruise Club is by far the best luxury cruise agent in Europe and we have used them for many years. They offer fantastic personal service and are always helpful and easy to get hold of and they offer amazing prices. Book elsewhere at your peril!

We booked a cruise with Seabourn via Sovereign Cruise simply because they quoted the cheapest price. In every other respect however Sovereign failed to live up to expectation. Client communication was minimal, you can’t pay online via the website and cannot book your cruise online either, you have to ring Sovereign and pay by debit or credit card. My conversations with the telephonist were terse and brief, she could not wait to end the conversation. She then did not bother to check my current address and sent all the confirmation to an address I had lived at five years before. Six Star Cruises do the same job so much better. I think that the owners of Sovereign can count themselves lucky that Seabourn seem to favour them above other cruise brokers. For as long as this continues then Sovereign will remain competitive, but in all other respects they fall far below what can be expected from a cruise broker in the modern day. Booking a cruise is part of the excitement and anticipation of the holiday, go with Six Star for a more fulfilling experience.

Completely incompetent from start to finish. I booked a £10K Uniworld River Cruise and paid extra for business class flights. Sovereign failed to inform me of a flight time change which would ruin the last 48 hours of my cruise as I would need to leave the ship at 0600 to travel to the airport. They then fabricated a story that the time change had only just happened but I have an email from TAP from 6 weeks previous. When I complained again they managed to cancel both the outbound and return business class flights, they then offered me EasyJet flights and couldn't understand why I wouldn't accept them.
All the staff members that I have spoken to require training on customer service as its pathetic.
I had a similar experience with a back-to-back Seadream Cruises for Christmas and New Year 2020. I was assured the cruise would proceed as scheduled only to find both itineraries had been cancelled. I requested a refund which was many weeks as Sovereign would only refund me when they received a refund from Seadream. I then had to cancel 4 flights to Miami and Caribbean Islands plus over night hotels.
My advice is to avoid Sovereign Cruise Club at all costs. They may have been £200 cheaper than other cruise company but there is a good reason for that. You pay peanuts.......................

UPDATE
Uniworld have now taken over my booking from Sovereign. Uniworld have re-booked the business class flights and paid for post-cruise overnight hotel accommodation so we don't need to leave the ship at 0600.

Excellent service in booking our first cruise since lockdown, very professional team could not have done more for us especially with all the extra special requirements the first cruise since lockdown brings with it. Team very helpful in finding the right cabin, dining and bar options and pre booking. First hand knowledge of product and excellent follow up. Highly recommended! Will book again
