We have just returned from an amazing break in Argentina ending with 3 nights in Rio. Nick put together a really great itinerary. With the exception of Iguazu and Rio we chose small boutique hotels and they were of such a high standard with great customer service. His ground agents are very reliable also, which instills great confidence when travelling on a bespoke trip. I would rate The South America Specialists very highly when planning your trip in South America. I can't wait for my next trip!

I have known and worked with Nick/The South America Specialists for several years now. He's an excellent guy. Extremely knowledgeable about the whole of South America but he has particular knowledge and first-hand experience of the more adventurous luxury-end of Argentina and Chile which makes him an excellent first point of contact to map out ideas, budgets and the first-class travel/hotel itineraries you'll need on route. We've personally loved our trips taking in Buenos Aires, the Iguazu Falls, the north of Argentina, Bolivia and the Atacama desert (Chile) before heading down to and relaxing in Santiago and Valparaiso.

I came across the South American Specialist by chance, whilst browsing the web. What luck. I have now used the company twice - the first time to mop up a few details on a holiday I had already planned and the second time to organise a 3 week trip for me. On both occasions I have found Nick helpful, knowledgable and easy to work with. He always replies to emails asap, which is a huge bonus whilst trying to get a complicated schedule together. I also like the way he prices the trip - there is no mark up to the rates published by the hotels and lodges. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to South America.
