The Pump House Jazz Club presents jazz concerts every Thursday evening. Always very good musicians and bands, nice atmosphere, very friendly people there. Moderate entrance price. A raffle during the break.

This is the place thar natures young people's passion for Drama and Dance. The History of the Pump House Theatre goes as long as I can remember. It was therefore Beautiful to speak to young people about the Joys of working hard for a Brighter future.

A lovely small venue with good parking. Downside are steps going in to the auditorium. Not sure if there is disabled access.

Small community theatre run largely by volunteers. Has a bar for drinks before the performance. There is a small car park on site which I suspect charges. No local street parking as it is all resident permits.

In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.

The Pump House was great but beware one of the local residents threatened to have my car towed even though the parking restrictions allowed me to park freely after 6:30pm on a Saturday.

What a great venue and what a great show! Drinks reasonably priced too, and even a blanket for your lap if you start to feel chilly in the second act! Top drawer!
