I ordered a Knoll desk for my son’s new flat. The price was incredible. I had first class communication from Ross and Michael. I got an email with the tracking info and they used Fed ex.

My son is absolutely over the moon. It was also so easy to put together as well

Ordered 5/3/2025 and they took my money immediately.
Many chases later, finally got A chair delivered 4/4/2025.
But not the chair I ordered: black cloth NOT tan leather. And in any case the chair they sent was broken. I returned the broken chair immediately hoping they'd show me the same speed and courtesy. Nope.
Like other reviews, it's all gone completely quiet over the last few weeks. Now 19/5/2025 and still crickets...............
I suggest you buy a lottery ticket same day if you order from this bunch, as you probably have a better chance of a good outcome.

Should have listened to the reviews. It's been 4 weeks and I'm still without the chair, I got sent the wrong chair and it's still not been replaced, customer service has gone radio silent.

Edit: Correct chair finally arrived, seems in good working order, bumped up a star. Unbeatable price for the chair, just wish they improved their customer service.

Extremely disappointing experience. I placed an order for a Humanscale Freedom Task Chair on 23 June 2025, with a promised delivery timeframe of 10 working days. Over 5 weeks later, I’ve still not received the item - or even a meaningful update. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, the company has been unresponsive, vague, and failed to deliver on promised callbacks or replies.

This delay and lack of communication is not only frustrating but also a breach of consumer rights. I’ve now initiated a chargeback and reported the issue to Citizens Advice/Trading Standards. Based on my experience and similar stories from other reviewers, I strongly advise caution before ordering from this company.

I purchased a reconditioned Herman Miller chair at the start of June. Once it arrived I found it to be dusty and in need of a good wipe down, but no staining and the plastics had no visible scratches. Upon further inspection I could only describe it as mediocre condition at best and that it doesn’t meet the 10 step restore process advertised on their website, which they say is performed for each reconditioned chair. Below are the problems I have.

The foam insert in the front is damaged, old and brittle with clumps missing and when sitting dust and bits often fall off. Very noticeable on a wood floor. The recon process says foams are replaced if worn or damaged - hasn’t been done.

The seat material has a small tear/fray at the front - ok fair enough for a second hand chair, would have been good to call it out in the description though as the material is tough and it scratches my leg.

One of the plastic mechanisms for the arm rest adjustment is broken, so that doesn’t work. The recon process says this would have been checked and replaced - obviously not for my chair.

Replaceable plastic arm rest cover is broken underneath causing it to lift when leaning. Again, something that should have been noticed and replaced under the recon process.

I could have purchased cheaper from other providers who also sell reconditioned chairs, but I thought by paying the extra and based on the information on the website I’d have got a better service.

Now on to service - I have emailed about the issues found, providing photos and offering solutions (either they send me parts and I can replace, or I can source, replace and they refund the difference. I’ve had no responses at all.

Summary - you can probably buy a decent chair here, but looking at the reviews it’s hit and miss. Customer service is non-existent, so if there is a problem you’re stuck.

I ordered a Herman Miller Abak desk from The Office Crowd and was told it would be shipped within 2 weeks. It’s now been 10 days and I haven’t received any update or communication. The worst part? It is completely impossible to reach them.

I’ve called multiple times—almost every day—and no one ever picks up. For a company selling premium office furniture, their customer service is shockingly unprofessional and unresponsive.

At this point, I have no idea if my desk is even going to arrive. I’m left in the dark with no support, no updates, and no way to contact anyone for answers.

Buy at your own risk. If something goes wrong or you need support, you’re on your own. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone.

I can’t fault them. Ordering process was straightforward and delivery was bang on 10 working days via FedEx.
I know some seem to have had delivery / contact issues but I had none.
The chair was exactly what I ordered and I’m sat in it now typing this in a chair that cost me 1/5th the price of a new one. Absolute bargain.

I ordered my chair on the 8th of March, today is the 24th and no chairs arrived . Despite communications starting out well, its all gone very quiet!!!!! They have not responded to my last two emails, one of which was asking for a refund. They don't pick up the phone either. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!
