Just spent a lovely educational and enjoyable time with Nick Robinson on one of his foraging sessions starting in Sandwich, Kent. Small friendly group of 5 of us. We visited woodland and coastal areas. Its amazing what glorious edibles are out there for all to enjoy. Great host topped off by home cooked 3 course meal using some of the ingredients we picked today. After wild garlic pesto you won't be buying a jar of pesto from the shops ever again!!Seriously lovely even with a bit of hail. Looking forward to Nick's mushroom course. Thank you Nick from Emma and Gary😊

We spent the day out with Nick foraging for mushrooms.

Nick was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He clearly spends a lot of time out foraging himself and had waited until he was absolutely certain that things had started to fruit. As a result we had a fantastic experience identifying all kinds of fungi, edible, tasty to eat and inedible. We were able to pick seven different edible, flavoursome mushrooms.
Nick finished the day by cooking us a delicious 3 course meal on a remote beach from a stove in his landrover.

We had a great day-out on our winter foraging course this October. Nick is extremely knowledgeable and helped us indentify lots of fungi species, whilst walking through the woodland and getting to know the people in our group for the day.

We foraged a haul of mushooms - where some were used in the amazing food prepared for our lunch. We were also able to share the haul of mushrooms between the group to take-home to use for own culinary purposes.

The foraging experience with Nick exceeds any others that we have participated in the past, and we are already planning our next course for the springtime of 2025.

For anyone interested, I highly recommend getting booked up. It truly is a wholesome, educational day out. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic day. Nick is so knowledgeable. Small group so masses of opportunity to learn as we went. Lots of mushrooms foraged and a truly delicious lunch at the end of it. Good value for the whole experience. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Had a cracking day out with Nick and gathered lots of lovely stuff. The food he cooked on the beach was amazing too. I was completely stuffed at the end and didn't need an evening meal that day! Highly recommended and I'd like to go out again to get some more of those amazing Morels!

We really enjoyed our ‘Coastal Foraging day, in Sandwich area yesterday. Nick explained so much and we sampled tasty ‘herbs/plants, picking lots of wonderful wild asparagus. . Nick prepared and served us a very tasty 3 course lunch, using foraged food, and included his homemade sausage.

We learned so much about not only edible plants but the local wildlife as well.

Hope to do a ‘Fungi Foraging day’ in the Autumn.

My wife and I spent the day with Nick foraging along the coast and had a fantastic time. Nick is friendly, very knowledgable and passionate about what he does. We would highly recommend him and will be sure to book the mushroom foraging course later in the year.
