The Retreat is just beautiful, a hidden gem with a hot tub which we took daily advantage of! Lovely furnishings and a perfect position to explore Lincoln and surrounding countryside. Louise provides lots of information as well as leaving treats for her guests and pets…my dog especially loved the blanket! A very relaxing place to stay and I shall definitely try to book again when in the area. Thanks Louise 👍🏼😁

The Retreat is a cozy Sanctuary within a lovely village with good amentities nearby, including a Co-op shop, 2 pubs and eateries. The Greek is definitely a winner!
Our bed was comfortable with huge leather sofas and snuggly throws. The bathroom was spacious to enjoy a long soak in a big free standing bath tub.

A great place to unwind after a few days of sightseeing in lincoln which was a short drive away.
Louise is the most perfect host who provides much thought and attention to detail, including a fully comprehensive welcome pack. Her communication was spot on.
She even provides a dog sitting service for your furry friendly friends.
Highly recommend.

We’ve just enjoyed our second visit to this beautiful property. The Retreat is top class, comfortable ,spacious, clean & welcoming with high quality furnishings & appliances throughout , fab fully equipped kitchen. Louise really does think of everything & although you might not see her , she’s literally a click away if you need anything & she gives you a very warm welcome with check in info messages prior to arrival plus she leaves you a lovely welcome gift too. The garden inc the hot tub is both lovely & private. This time we had a nice surprise with the snow which made the hot tub even better

Only negative I could say was the frying pan needs replacing but that didn’t stop me cooking full English both mornings

What a lovely find. Excellent accommodation, we wanted for nothing. Correspondence with owner Louise was clear and precise. Cottage in a lovely village and had everything you need for a short break. Very clean and all the little extras certainly made our stay. Lovely to relax in hot tub after days out. Highly recommended

amazing few days away at the retreat! louise was a great host from booking right through to departure. perfect host, with every little detail covered.. from robes, to flips flops for the outside, to different towels for bathing/hotub and treats/bowls for the dogs! the retreat was well equipped, made full use of the kitchen. the highlight was the hot tub and secluded garden, very secluded & private. the village itself is perfect, everything you need within a few minutes walk. will 100% be returning! x

The most perfect weekend away! Louise is a fantastic host at the Retreat and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is beautiful, and made the perfect getaway to reset! Thoroughly loved our time and will be returning. Could not recommend the Retreat enough. Simply stunning!!

Wow! what can we say? The Retreat exceeded all expectations. Finding somewhere so luxurious AND dog friendly is a rarity. Louise has thought of everything from the all the gadgets, useful bits and bobs, flipflops to high end furnishings and the special hot tub! The girls really appreciated the dog VIP basket with toys and treats and for us the welcome hamper with a bottle of fizz and hand written note a beautiful touch.
You've really made our one night stay special and we will be highly recommending you to all our friends. Can't wait to return!
