First time visit, on their DB&B summer package. Arrival was smooth and externally the hotel was very beautiful with absolutely stunning gardens meticulously maintained by Stephen who explained the stream life to me. Our package included a glass of prosecco and Victoria sponge - the glass was a generous size and the cake was huge and delicious which we enjoyed in the hotel garden. We had booked into Waterside cottage and it was clear that the managers and owners of this hotel know their stuff - clean and luxuriously appointed bathroom with everything you needed; plenty of mirrors, shelving and molten brown toiletries. The bed was huge and very comfortable and again the bedroom was well appointed with loads of sockets etc and a proper wardrobe. We had the additional bonus of a separate living area with mini fridge. Again very well provided with fresh milk - no fiddling around with those tiny cartons - orange juice and water plus chocolates, biscuits and cheese snacks and capsule coffee. We also had our own private garden with 3 seating areas where we could enjoy both sun and shade. We had booked into the Seafood restaurant first night and the Marwick brasserie the second. It was lovely to have a choice of the two. Our package included a generous £50 per head - so often dinner packages are rarely sufficient to cover 2 courses. The food in both was truly excellent- we had the pleasure of meeting Neil the head chef and DM who has been at the hotel 25 years. It was clear that the hotel has a loyal following. All the staff were courteous and helpful. This hotel really surprised us - everything was so thought through, the staff were really special and the food was divine. We will definitely return - thank you to all the team.

Thank you so much for a wonderful 3 night stay. We loved all the attention to detail. We stayed in a Classic room which was sufficiently spacious and very clean plus a great shower. The food on the main dining room was excellent and we loved the extensive menu for breakfast. Thanks also to the staff who were attentive and friendly.

We originally booked a night away at The Millstream Hotel, with dinner, bed and breakfast, to celebrate my other half’s birthday. Sadly, circumstances meant we were unable to attend as planned, and we were fully prepared to lose our non-refundable booking. However, thanks to the incredible kindness and understanding of the General Manager, Annie Brierley, our story had a much happier ending.||Annie went above and beyond to help us manage what was quite a complex situation. Thanks to her care and flexibility, we were able to rebook — and decided to celebrate not just one, but two big birthdays in one special stay.||We were lucky enough to stay in one of the beautiful garden cottages, surrounded by peace, charm, and the gentle sounds of the village. Bosham itself is magical — a place where the tide still rolls in and out, sometimes flooding the main car park (a sight in itself!). Walking along the harbourside, exploring the village, and returning to the comfort and elegance of The Millstream made for a truly unforgettable experience.||The hotel itself carries so much character and history. Originally three 17th-century workmen’s cottages, bordered by the Bosham Stream, it has evolved over centuries. A stone tablet bearing WM1701 still marks its origins. Over the years, The Grange became a guesthouse, a sea school, and eventually — in 1965 — the beautiful Millstream Hotel it is today. With thoughtful extensions and a deep sense of respect for its heritage, the hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort seamlessly.||From the personal touches to the wonderful food, and the exceptional service throughout, we couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate. We are already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Annie and the team, for making our stay so special.

Fantastic small , characterful hotel. This hotel is a quintessentially English, quaint hotel. It sits in a small, beautiful coastal village. Whilst I say it’s quaint it is absolutely 21st century in both professionalism and facilities. We stayed overnight for a wedding anniversary celebration. The bedroom was spacious, well equipped and generously stocked. We were greeted with a complimentary cream tea and smiling staff. The staff cannot do enough for you and do not have that annoying habit , which so many modern hotel groups have, of speaking to you casually and as if you are their ‘mate’! Alleluia! The three course meal was delicious, plentiful and hot. And , as we had an overnight bed and breakfast deal we were given £50 per person discount on the dinner. The breakfast was top notch with high quality produce and an excellent variety which would please most palates. There was a swift check in and check out with plenty of car parking available. I cannot praise this hotel enough. Long may it last!

Genuinely wonderful experience. Visited for afternoon tea and enjoyed friendly service and excellent food. My wife, who is coeliac said the gluten-free options are the best she's ever had.
Small car park but managed to find space. Short, level walk to waters edge. Fabulous!

We had a lovely few days at the Millstream Hotel. It is a beautiful setting, a short walk from Bosham Harbour and a short journey from the seaside at Wittering. Our room was well appointed, very comfortable and extremely clean and well presented. Everything had been thought about, down to details such as a magnifying mirror on the dressing table. The bed was comfortable and the bedding pristine. The bathroom was spotless and the towels soft and cosy. There were cosy bathrobes. The breakfast was delicious as was our evening meal. The only negative is that some of the staff are a bit unfriendly and curt. Others however were very friendly and welcoming. But it was inconsistent. Overall, we had a super time and will definitely return.

A really excellent experience - our room was very light and airy overlooking the garden. It had been recently refurbished and was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Whilst we didn't have dinner there the restaurant and menus looked most inviting. A lovely stay in a beautiful area.
