We had a fabulous experience during our evening in The Lost Crypt, Ryde, Isle of Wight. It is based in a church's real crypt which added a lot to the atmosphere. The puzzles really made us all think and the host was delightful. Even better, all proceeds go to help fund Aspire Ryde, a local charity.

We had a fabulous evening in The Lost Crypt, Ryde, Isle of Wight. It is based in a church's real crypt. Jamie, our host was great. The puzzles were challenging and fun. . Even better, 100% of the ticket cost is put back into the charity to fund local community projects.

Very enjoyable experience even if we did get stuck a few times. Well planned with some clever clues and a very friendly guide. Well worth a visit, and your money goes to the Aspire community initiative.

Four of us had a great night at The Lost Crypt, we were met by our host Jamie, who led us down to the underground area and gave us a briefing before we entered.
It was a dark night with a full moon, so we already had the setting and then once we entered the actual Crypt we were fully immersed in the atmosphere.
The clues had us all thinking hard and as the clock was ticking it induced adrenaline.
The best part of this escape room is it is set over several areas in the Crypt and you have to solve the clues to enter each area. Jamie was great and on hand when we needed.
Pleased to say we escaped 🕵️‍♀️ and even better we supported the Aspire charity 😁

A brilliant experience that I would recommend for anyone. I went with a friend and the two of us found this a fun challenge set in a real crypt adding to the spook factor. If you are looking for something fun to do in Ryde for an hour or two I would recommend.

We loved the Lost Crypt! As fellow escape room owners we really appreciate such a unique venue, and the game was very cleverly designed. There was a nice mix of doable puzzles regardless of your experience, and some head scratchers, but the lovely Teresa was on hand with a couple of clues when we needed them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, whether you are new to escape rooms or experienced, we highly recommend you pay them a visit!

This sounded like lots of fun. We found out it was to raise funds for a great cause too, so it ended up being a must do.
Jamie was a great host with lots of information about the church & crypt. She knew exactly when we needed encouragement or a bit more direct help.
The activity itself was much more difficult than I expected. You definitely need to have a few brains in gear before heading in.
It was great fun, whether we felt we knew what we were doing or not. It was good fun and well worth it.
I'd definitely recommend it and would take part in another when we find one.
