We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at The Lanterns. The apartment was beautiful and finished to such a high spec. It had everything we needed for a family of 4. The owners Bob and Sally have thought of everything, the welcome folder really helpful and the lovely bag of local treats was a lovely surprise.
The apartment is set within walking distance to 2 local beaches and 2 local pub/restaurants which was great. There is also a local shop which has everything. We have discovered a little gem and will definitely be returning!

Just enjoyed a wonderful week with the family at the Lanterns. Outstanding, high end apartments furnished with everything you need. Beautiful views, amazing location right on the south west coast path. We walked for miles and visited some amazing beaches. Hope cove is beautiful. 2 lovely pubs and beaches, a useful local shop and a 2 min walk to the apartments. Bob and Sally the owners happened to be staying at the same time and it was lovely to meet them and their family. Super helpful, friendly and down to earth. We most definitely will back!

Outstanding accommodation! The view is breathtaking. Premium standard decoration and furnishings. The bed and mattresses are unbelievably good. Amazing touches: coffee machine and complementary pods and welcome bag with gorgeous local goodies. The Lanterns is a lovely spacious, high end, comfortable apartment place to stay and I will come again and again!

Everything about the Lanterns is high end and well thought through. From the coffee machine to the outdoor shower and wetsuit storage. Stunning location. Beautifully designed, built and finished apartments all with sea, sunset and cove views. What a great week !

What an amazing place. Hope Cove is a wonderful destination. The Laterns makes it better. Our rental was perfect for the family holiday. I could have spens the whole week looking at the view from the window... The accommodation was amazing value, modern, clean and super comfortable. It was really great to have a charging point for an electric car. Its proximity to the beach and the local bars/restaurants was perfect.

What a beautiful apartment! We’ve been coming to Hope Cove for 30 years and have never stayed anywhere as well thought out and stylishly designed. Our apartment had everything we needed, was contemporary and well furnished and just a joy to have as a base for this gorgeous part of the world. Moments from the coastal path and a few minutes walk to the local pubs but set back well enough to be a peaceful oasis on a busy summer’s day. I cannot recommend the lanterns enough / book now, you won’t be disappointed.

We had the most fantastic week in Hope Cove staying at the three bedroom Carswell Cove property. The accommodation was definitely the best we have ever stayed in the south coast. The place is beautiful and was totally immaculate when we arrived and the little touches such as the lanterns shopping bag, toiletries and gin etc made it even more welcoming. The location is perfect and everything is accessible by walking, which was a huge bonus with the many restaurants and pubs in short waking distance including other beaches besides the main two in Hope Cove itself. Many thanks again and we will definitely be back soon and will miss the amazing sunsets and spectacular views from the balcony.

An absolute little gem!
Great apartment, amazing views, really special holiday rental. No complaints and would happily recommend to anyone.
Tucked away so you get peace and quiet but only a few minutes walk into the centre of Hope Cove.
