A huge thank you to Rosa who booked our recent 2.5 weeks trip to Italy (specifically Tuscany and Umbria). Rosa patiently went through our detailed requirements and over the course of a few emails/phone calls built us an itinerary which ticked all the boxes. Once everything was booked, she was a huge help in recommending specific places to visit and restaurants and trattorias to taste the local food and wine. Without her help we probably wouldn't have visited half the places we did as many were hidden gems.

A superb holiday booked by Spirito Italiano! We had small tours booked for the places we knew we wanted to go, plus some really brilliant suggestions for places we didn't know existed - which absolutely made the trip better! Rosa managed to get our hotel room upgraded, and also managed to warn us that our trains to and Florence had been cancelled - giving us the time to sort it out and spend an incredible day in Florence. Rome is currently undergoing cleaning and conservation in the run up to the Jubilee next year - so I hope to go back and see even more of the amazing sights once the scaffolding and sheets are down - and will definitely be calling on Rosa and Spirito Italiano to organise our next trip. Can't recommend highly enough!

We booked our holiday with Rosa from The Italian Connection. Our trip began with a visit to Cinque Terre and Lake Como in June 2022, followed by a trip to the Amalfi Coast in September 2022.

Rosa did an excellent job putting together both trips and fulfilling our wishes for a memorable experience. Due to Rosa’s knowledge of the area and hotels, we felt like all the accommodation choices were perfect for us.

Rosa also arranged a driver during our visit to the Amalfi coast. Our driver was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was very open to what ever we wanted to do and happy to accommodate us.

We had our first trip to Italy organised for us by this excellent boutique travel company made up of 4 nights in Naples and 3 in Positano. Highlights were food and cultural tours of Naples and stopping for wine tasting and lunch in the shadow of Vesuvius Rosa was very helpful throughout and made some great suggestions for things to do and see and also restaurant recommendations. The level of service was very high and all our flights tours, excursions and transfers were organised for us and came off without a hitch. This included notification of some short notice changes in plans on our return due to bad weather. I throughly recommend this company and would definitely use them again for a future holiday in Italy.

So grateful to the fabulous Rosa who organised the most amazing trip to Sicily Taormina - including the most wonderfully located hotel CapoTaormina, and a fabulous trip with Alex up Mount Etna at sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and Rosa organised all of it - I just gave her a budget and she did the rest including location in Sicily, hotel, Etna trip and restaurants, which is great because it was for my husbands 40th and the specialist knowledge Rosa has of Sicily was just what I needed to make this the perfect trip.
