Recently booked through The Island Holiday Company
for a family stay on the Isle of Wight. What a fantastic company with great communication and was able to not only book the property but also the ferry tickets, well worth it as well. When we go back next year we will be again using The Island Holiday Company due to the service and communication, many thanks for making our stay enjoyable and easy.

Really enjoyable stay on the Isle of Wight. We stayed in 1 Aspe Castle and the accommodation was great, had all the amenities needed. Shanklin was only a few mins drive, however the property felt isolated allowing great star viewing at the evening and nature calling in the morning.
The customer service received from The Islands Holiday Company was perfect, I had to change my ferry time which was booked via the agent and within 10 minutes of speaking to Red Funnel the agent had forwarded over the confirmation.
Would highly recommend and consider for future visits. My only suggestion would be a welcome hamper of locally produced products, however there was coffee/milk/tea/sugar in sachets provided.

Great friendly and efficient team. Made our stay on the Island really enjoyable and stress free. If we had any problems either with the rental or the ferry they were quickly solved with minimal fuss. We will be back!

Nice apartment well equipped There is a public footpath that runs along the perimeter of the garden which has a low fence so not very private when sitting in the garden or at meal times in the kitchen.
Sadley the hot tub was not working when we were there but the Island Holiday company did try to get it fixed and they were prompt in their communication. Freshwater bay is a beautiful part of the Island which I would recommend staying in.

Lovely place. Extremely clean and well equipped. Couldn't fault it at all. Building works going on, as described, but really didn't get in the way. All the builders were extremely polite and very mindful of anyone passing, always stopping what they were doing and guiding them by. Perfect beach for buckets and spades. Lovely crazy golf next door and go karts for youngsters. Sandown is quite run down now, which is a shame, but it's still a great base for staying on the island. Local food options a real let down, however, and the only reason why we won't return in a hurry.

We recently stayed at the Goldfinch Cottage, part of Water Mill Vacations in the Isle of Wight, and it was absolutely fantastic. This cottage combines the best of both worlds, offering the tranquillity of a forest-like setting with the convenience of being centrally located.

The cottage itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and warm, perfect for our family of five. It featured a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances, making our stay comfortable and easy. The living areas, especially the large and cosy couch, were a hit with our son.

The bedrooms were tidy, with comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was a highlight, complete with a Jacuzzi and excellent water pressure. The balcony, equipped with a grill, became our favourite spot to relax and take in the beautiful natural surroundings.

Its location allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions and the town centre. The fact that it's pet-friendly was an added advantage. With reliable internet connectivity, our evenings were filled with movie nights and web browsing.

In summary, Goldfinch Cottage at Water Mill Vacations gave us a memorable and peaceful place for family gatherings. It had all the amenities we could wish for, making our stay enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend it for a quality family stay. A well-deserved five stars!

Accommodation did the job and well located on the island, but was a little disappointed overall. Clean but cobwebby in corners, towels musty, carpet worn in areas, dog hair on sofa cushions.

"As a guest you will have free access to the various attractions when open, which are just a stone’s throw away from your accommodation. A round of the 18-hole adventure golf course or a peep inside the small war museum can be entertaining for all ages. A stroll up towards the barns, home to a large portable steam engine..."

Listing should be make clearer that mill is mostly closed and everything is a bit dilapidated and roped off. Golf was very tired and no clubs or balls about. Lodge balcony overlooked commercial metal fencing, overgrown landscape, an abandoned lodge and a generator so not particularly nice.

Kitchen was well equipped though and a good size for a family of six to end on a bit of positivity.
